- If you're looking for a new music-licensing platform you've probably heard about MusicBed. While it's one of the most well-known platforms, and it certainly has a great music selection, I wanted to share my experience with you so you can be aware of a few things. This is only my opinion and experience so please let me know if your experience has been different.

Couldn't agree with you more!!!! we need more videos like this because they got those big CZcamsrs vouching for this company acting like it is the greatest music licensing site ever! For the price they charge, I can get multiple music sites to license from and have better music. also they do not allow you to use all the music on their site. some of the music on their sites you still have to pay for it which I think is BS for the price of $1,100 I should have access to all the songs..
Well I checked Soundstipe and they do have a commercial and personal plan and the commercial plan is 240.00/yr, 360.00 if you pay monthly. Also their terms of use look the same as in only as long as you have a subscription plan.
"As part of a Subscription License, you may download unlimited content and use songs, SFX and videos in as many projects as you'd like during the length of your subscription, subject to our Terms of Use. You do not need to re-download any content in order to use content again during the length of your subscription."

I have been a long time user of Musicbed and Epidemic Sound and have constantly been frustrated by their licensing practices. I just now signed up for a year of Soundstripe pro membership and if this works I will cancel both Musicbed and Epidemic Sound. I’ll be canceling not because I prefer Soundstripe‘s music but I hate their business practices so much

I wish i found this video earlier. I am just an ordinary person loving one song and subscribed for it even though i am not making money using their music. All i want is just to listen to that song any time i want. I don't use that song for money. But they charged me 29 dollars a month and still charging. I subscribed for one month trail and personal. And now i will still have to pay 299 dollars even though I don't download their songs, even though I don't use their song for commercial. Now, i hated myself for subscribing it. I don't even know how to cancel the subscription. If anyone could help me with it, i would be so grateful to you guys. I agree with all things you said and i would not recommend it to anyone to use music bed too. It sucks people, andy kind of people.

Very criminal way to run their business. Almost feels like your held at gun point to keep spending money with them and if you don't, all your efforts are lost. I will never return to them.

I was trying to download a single song license. But it is showing 'monetization not included'. Have you checked this? I think musicbed is the worst.
They have some weird plans that allow you to use the music on Instagram or CZcams but NOT if you are making money from the video. It’s the worst.
So does this mean if I only use musicbed to purchase a synch license I will be overcharged and not able to use the song infinitely to make money on my CZcams videos?
Never buying music bed. They are super money hungry and don’t care about the user at all

Instead of subscribing I just paid 70 euros for 1 song. I never had to link it to a channel and they told me it's forever. That's what you could also do for the important stuff at least.
Unfortunately still run into issues with them. Constantly having to "re-clear" songs that were already licensed, etc
Musicbed is a horrible company. Stay away
and what if you make a promo video for a client who wants to put it on their channel. Not good.
Musicbed just have incredible music, and no other platform come even close. Price is high, but good value for quality in my opinion. Just this licencing... frustrating.
I agree they do have some great music but the horrible policies around licensing make it impractical to actually use in my case.
Got a free trial a week ago and I selected the monthly youtube creator subscription but it shows my renewal is next year. I haven't used any of the songs, haven't even used it really but no option to cancel and no option to remove the card. Emailed them so still waiting on a reply. Music doesn't fit the type of content I have unfortunately and they make it hard to cancel the free trial

Not sure if you watched the whole video, but the real problem I was trying to highlight was the lack of transparency from musicbed. The terms were not clear at all - to the point that they may have been intentionally confusing in order to elicit one year plans from people like me who otherwise would have canceled after a few months.
