The 24th was my hubby's and my 14th anniversary. We turned out the lights and layed on a blanket on the floor and watched the lightening for almost an hour. It was so romantic :D
If you double click the play button so that it plays very shortly, sometimes you can pause it when the lightning strikes, looks pretty neat. lights up some parts of the city. Thumbs up so other people can enjoy it.
the thunder was epic the way it kept rolling and rolling like that. Better than any fireworks show on earth! It was truly spectacular to see! :)....Go Toronto! :) hehe
that was such a cool event. I cant remember seeing a storm that flashed EVERY SECOND for two hours. It was like having a strobe light right outside the window
This storm stretched right from northern ontario right down to windsor. one of the biggest and violent storms i have been through. the damage may not have been that bad, but the amount of people affected by it was unbelieveable.
Was this clip sped up at all? I live in Canada too, but I have never seen so much lightening so close together! I am surprised the power wasn't knocked out!
Haha that storm was awesome my friends and I were in the basment and a tree fell down beside my friends house and there were tornados! Best storm ever.
i was next to the CN tower when that was happening also to start we were at a music store near the bass shop then we saw dark clouds so we went to the CN tower and it was so scary as hell
@TheImaCowMoo actually toronto had a watch, which is even more tame than a warning. A warning means it looks imminent or is already happening @ present. A watch means, well, keep an eye on it but don't freak out because theres no reason to panic. A warning is basically panic time.
i work right where this was filmed by those two construction cranes and was watching the ligthning hit the CN tower, meaning we were doing the same shit at same time in the same place.
Intense. I love it. Wish I were there. Great video!!!!!!!

This was an amazing storm! I saw what was probably the biggest lightning strike I've ever witnessed. O_o
That storm was madness. My entire town went ORANGE for about half an hour (im 2 hours north of toronto)
that storm was NUTS, it was better than watching my polar bears fight in my igloo
I was eating at CN Tower during this... was actually blinded by the number of lighting strokes the CN Tower was hit by...
Crazy. I've never experienced a storm like this
