CN Tower hit by lightning 15 times

- During an intense electrical storm in Toronto on Aug. 24, 2011, I pointed my video camera at the CN Tower -- the tallest structure in the city (and Canada for that matter) -- and recorded one lightning strike after another over the course of about half an hour. Here's a montage of 15 of those hits.
There was so much lightning over such a long period that the spectators oohing and aahing on their balconies eventually got bored and went back inside.

so this is what happened yesterday here in Toronto...no wonder my room was shaking (vibrating) literally with each lightning!

i live near Toronto if you have ever been in the cn tower you would probably love the view it was breath taking i was visiting my cousin during a thunder storm i did get some recording but i lost that camera years ago i wish i had the video allwell :) thanks for uploading this :)

Sahil Sandhu 1. It says *right in the description* that it's a montage shot over half an hour. So yes, I edited it out the minute or so of nothing happening between each lightning strike. 2. Yeah you're right, it must be several different storms over several different nights where the exact same group of people happened to be on their balcony oohing and aahing 🙄 Good work Sherlock.

It's easy to say "Shut the fuck up", bla bla bla... when you're sitting on your ass looking at the video, the sound of lightning over and over and over will make you say "Ohhhhhhhhhh" or "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" almost every single time in person. If you never experienced a "close encounter" with lightning, believe me, you almost shit your pants.
