- This beauty was a star. In this video, she was seen laying an egg and I can tell you something: this is a very rare sighting. I was lucky to have spotted the signs of her fast breathing prior to her laying the egg. This was her fourth egg. I've observed that during breeding, Linnie hens on average lay an egg every 39-41 hours during breeding. I have to say, she was an adorable bird.
Oh poor little one... I can see it trembles with pains.
Wow, poor mama! !! That was a great job!!! SHE LOOKS EXHAUSTED! !!!
wow, such a beautiful bird! and I didn't know that laying eggs caused that much pain to a parakeet, what a great mom :)
What a beautiful bird, I love that color of blue on her feathers.
My goodness, that looks like allot of hard work for her.
That is one of the most beautiful parakeets I have seen. You know, she's the same colors as my 1969 Camaro!
She is an adorable bird, I bet the babies will be just a beautiful.
Wow! Her colors are SO BEAUTIFUL! <3
Oh what a gorgeous linnie!
It's amazing that you managed to film this beautiful event, I've never been able to see a bird lay.
what a beautiful bird.
She must be in so much pain!! :(
Awww, poor baby. I know it's part of life but I still feel for her, that looked painful, intense and exhausting.
I must say she is Beautiful
Probably the most beautiful colour I’ve ever seen on a bird
She's stunning. She also has a nice little clutch of eggs there. Good little mama.
I just scrolled down and looked at some of the comments, all I have to say is that bird people are awesome. I think we are a smart bunch, if I may say so myself.
maybe people will respect birds a little more than some do now that they can see all the pain and work they have to endure to produce their eggs. that poor bird definatly shows signs of pain and tiredness. hope she was ok after. thanks for posting
She's shaking so badly, poor girl! Give her lots of cuddles and scritches when she's not busy!
Those eggs are enormous in comparison to the size of the bird. Laying one of those is like giving birth.
That bird is utterly 100% beautiful.
When I was little I used to think that eggs didn't hurt when they come out cause they are smooth and round...
She is so pretty!
