    great real life test ! I,ve doe this with the Garmin epix pro and Apple Watch Ultra whore them around all day and doing normal stuf, switched arm during half of the day. and Garmin undercounts a lot sometimes 2000 steps a day

    This is very informative. I didn't know there was such a big difference between watches. I would also love to see if the ticwatch pro 5 is more or less accurate. Because I've noticed that Google fit and tic health doesn't agree on the step count.

    Interesting... I have a Galaxy Watch 5 that I use to count steps on the treadmill. It misses around 15-20% of steps consistently. Was hoping to find a better one here, but guess that is out of the question.
    For me the watch should count steps on exercises like walking or running correctly. If it's incorrect on daily usage around the house I care less.
