When I was a young girl I read my mothers old copy of “Little Woman” because she had read it when she was my age, and Im sure, just as she had, made myself into a sort of Jo. My mom has since passed away, and I have inherited all her old books and treasures. I have also inherited her love for the past, for the outdoors, for baking, and for family. That is what your brand represents to me- family. It reminds me of the connection between me and my mom, and her old copy of “Little Woman” that sits tattered on my shelf

When I first stumbled across Little Woman Atelier I was immediately impressed by the designs. As a kid/young teen I've dreamed to wear dresses like this but I could never find any shops selling them. Buying some of your clothing was literally a childhood dream getting fulfilled 🥰🥰
I love the love, care and thoughtfulness you put into your garments and how you wish to reflect true graceful femininity and modest beauty ❤️ And I love how you all work together as a family to make your dream and vision come true for women all around the world ❤️
For as long as I can remember, I only wanted to wear dresses. Classic, cottage-style ones; they made me feel so beautiful-magical, even.
Then, growing up into a teen, society convinced me that dresses were for special occassions only. Classic styles made you an outcast in the world of fashion. You should fit in with everyone else's style, and not stand out too much.
Now, at 27 years, I am finally stepping into my own self. I am finally working up the courage to wear what I ACTUALLY want, and what makes me feel so beautiful. It makes me feel myself, at last!
Little Women Atelier's style is everything I ever wished for. Your dresses are my younger selves' biggest dream. I so hope to own one, soon.

I find it fascinating to find spaces such as the textile brand "Little Women Atelier" where each design of their dresses is inspired by the March sisters, evoking the beauty of the past and turning them into timeless garments. I am a young mom, my baby girl is nine months old. Becoming a mother made me think deeply about what I want to teach my daughter in life. Taking care of what you possess, respecting the things you own, using long-lasting and high-quality objects and clothes are a few of the things I will definitely teach her. The dresses from Little Women Atelier are the perfect example I could think of to show her what I mean. Wearing a Little Women Atelier dress is like putting on a dream and then living in one. A dream so beautiful and lovely, one that teaches you the importance of slow and sustainable living. The inspiration behind the dresses is what pulled me in, and the meaning behind them is what keeps me here, in love with everything LWA does.
As someone who is deeply fond of dress design, I do enjoy variety in a brand’s clothing styles, but I appreciate the fact that you are not constantly launching new collections but instead producing classic, well-loved designs steadily and with attention to quality. I feel like this influences customers to be a little more mindful and less inclined to panic buying a piece for the sake of exclusivity. Not that there’s anything wrong with making designs extra detailed and exclusive! But your clothes provide comfort and are designed to be lived in, and that’s what I love about your brand.
When I learned about Little Women Atelier it was like: Wow, someone made o whole brand out of a book! I was so surprised and intrigued. When I then saw the designs I fell in love. The dresses are so timeless and classic, that wearing them for many years will not change their beauty. I yearned for dressing more like in older times, but only in the recent years history bounding was a thing. I think you perfectly summed up all the beauty of historical, practical and elegant garments in your brand. It's so wonderful to see that behind LWA is a whole family and an ethical workspace, not only a factory to produce and make profits. Slow fashion will always be my favourite, but I will always prefer that fashion, that tells a story. Like yours. 🍃🍂🍁
The Little Women brand represents a sense of simple living to me. Something where every detail is considered and cherished as opposed to the fast paced consumer culture. Heirlooms have always had a special place in my heart and I look forward to one day giving my children the knowledge I have gained over the years along with useful objects that hold stories and many more untold.
My discovery of LWA was a happy accident. I love that as a family you started a business that encourages less environmental waste, and buying quality pieces that can last long amounts of time and could be passed down to future generations. These garments also bring joy and beauty into the world which is always needed. Congratulations on such a wonderful business with such wonderful morals.
As one of four sisters, Little Women has always meant so much to me. I was introduced to the abridged version at school when I was 12 and then the full version by my mother at age 13 when she gifted it to me for my birthday and told me it was her very favorite childhood book. I immediately saw myself in firey Jo with her temper, distaste for marriage, and her great love of horses, books, and writing. She was the very first fictional character I remember reading about and saying “hey! That’s me exactly!” Im 23 now and often revisit Little Women (and the subsequent books) for comfort and guidance. It remains my favorite novel of all time. So you can only imagine my elation when I found your clothing that is not only named after my favorite book and characters, but captures all the cozy, homey, comforting feelings I’ve come to associate with Little Women. Every reread of Little Women feels like coming home, good hug from a dear friend, and all the childhood days I spent laughing with my sisters. Perusing about your shop feels much the same.

I really like the vision of clothing as an item of value. I think it is important for us to remember the worth of our actions, such as the process of buying. To buy something that can be passed on and be given as a present instead of passing on with the intention to get rid of something. My mommy would read Little Woman, Little House in the Prairie, and Anne of Green Gables to me before bed when I was younger. I just love the simplicity of the style, the material and production of every product that takes everyone back to a simpler time. Having worked at an Edwardian time period heritage site in Canada, I love the simplicity of the fashion and that it was very about what was trend when but what could I make myself and everyone took pride in that. I am also in awe of the dedication and love that you and your family have put in to creating this gorgeous brand for women everywhere to experience and love.

Little Women is my grandmother’s favorite book. As a young girl growing up in New England like the March sisters I often imagined what it must have been like and played pretend. Your clothing is beautiful and I loved learning more about your story. Like a good book, clothing can be timeless too.

As the youngest of 3 sisters, little women holds a warm place in my heart and wearing little women atelier reminds me of the inspiring stories that women have to tell. As well as their ethos of sustainability, each garment feels special and it's like receiving a package made with love.
I really love the aesthetic and attention to detail. Even the pretty postcards that come along with the order. I’ve never considered the effort that even go into making the fabric covered buttons. And I’ve come to love wearing linen all summer.

I love my LWA dress! It's soft, it's extremely comfortable, and I look absolutely stunning in it! It's also a small brand in my country, and I'm trying to support such brands instead of huge international corporations, and this video clearly illustrates why that's a right thing to do.

“Little Women,” has been one of my go to story to read. The empowerment towards women that it provides encouragement that I can be the independent Jo, the confident Amy, the strong and responsible Meg, and the sweet and gentle Beth. These dresses are beautiful and the tradition and the love and time and effort that goes into these gorgeous works of art give me such joy. Family. Is so important and this brand is an obvious and very apparent gift that has grown from that.
I adore the modest beauty and attention to details. Your brand is unlike any others and is far better in quality than any other linen brands than I have come across. Since I was a little girl, I have enjoyed watching and reading Little Women. To see your creations so beautifully embody the spirit of these uplifting women is inspirational. Your family philosophy was one of the main draws towards buying from you, especially since the purpose of my investing in some good hardy linen clothes is a part of preparing for starting my own family. What you mentioned about the art of sewing and dressmaking being passed from mother to daughter really resonated with me, since I'm a seamstress myself and full intend to teach my own daughters the craft to pass on that beautiful tradition that's seemed to die out in a lot of ways in modern society

I love the beautiful family story, both in Little Women and in your brand, and the love and care you put into each garment is clear to see! The dresses are so timeless and made with such beautiful fabrics. I saved up to finally buy my first dress and it is an absolute dream to wear, I feel like I stepped straight into the March House! The fact that you tailor each garment for your customers with their own measurements is so rare and wonderful, and really eased my mind knowing that I was going to receive a high quality garment that would fit me. Knowing that the brand has a strong focus on slow fashion and caring for the environment is such a huge plus as well!
I really love what your brand stands for. Its values are very much the same as my own. I absolutely fell in love with the style of your clothes the moment I saw them- traditional but wearable and oh so beautiful! I saved my birthday money back to buy the Meg dress in forest green, breaking my usual birthday tradition of going on a speeding spree and buying as much as possible with that money! I love how LWA is so strongly based on family and tight relationships throughout the generations. Also the idea of clothing items as a sort of heirloom is so wonderful. I already started to collect sustainable items I can hopefully one day pass in to my children. You and this brand really inspire me. And besides the sustainable and familiar aspect of the clothes they also really have this fairytale-esque quality that instantly transports you to adventures in another, magic realm. When I was really little I loved dresses. When I was 5 i had a bad experience where I wore a fancy dress to a birthday party, to which I was the only girl invited. After that I refused to wear a dress for the rest of my childhood and most of my teen years. I am finally rediscovering my love of dresses. The ones from Little Women Atelier are so gently feminine that I feel an echo of my childhood love of dresses without feeling like I'm dressing like a child
LWA embodies the cozy, loving, family-oriented, conscious life I want to live. Little Women has been a deep part of my life since I was young. I read the book many times over. My little girl is named after one of the sisters. When I discovered LWA it felt like coming home ♥️
Everytime I watch Greta Gerwig's Little Women, I am blown away by the costumes. Your clothing looks the most authentic and to add a cherry on top, you are environmentally and socially mindful. I love your dedication to slow fashion and paying your workers a decent wage, much love

I used to make all my own dresses in the style of the period books I was reading growing up. Such a lovely idea to create a brand based on beloved characters in classic literature. The natural linen and wool fabrics and feminine and flattering designs are a beautiful contribution to girls and women who love the look and feel of this vintage aesthetic.
Coming from India, a country in Asia and ruled by commonwealth for some time. We have different cultures and religions. Indian culture is so rich with it colours and clothes we wear and same time we adapt clothes and cultures of around the world. I am so happy to have found you guys few years back on the instagram. All pictures you and your sister bring are so beautiful. Little women is my favourite book and have seen lot of screen adaptation even in our language and culture but the adaption in clothes like you guys are a dream. Didn’t expect this video to bring tears to my eyes. I had cancer as a child myself, and I saw younger and older patients fight the same fights as me. It’s scary, and the fact that you donate to ease their fights means a lot. Sometimes I feel like cancer foundations get overlooked. Thank you, so much. ❤️

I have always longed to live in the days of the Little Women, and I was so excited to find a company that sells amazing clothing that can get me to at least look the part! The clothing is so classy, so elegant, and they tell the stories of the March sisters in their styling.

I’ve always wanted to dress like the characters from my favourite books. When I discovered cottagecore and your brand, I had already discovered that I enjoy slow living in the countryside and could imagine myself living in your linen dresses. I admire how LWA is slow-fashion and is made by a family for each individual. These pieces will last a lifetime if they are cared for properly and will always be beautiful because of their timeless beauty (puffed collars, delicate collars, long skirts, and pockets!).
