Sparta ION 400 / 500 battery. Power loss, does not charge. Replacing BMS by Daly BMS (AliExpress)

- The converted Sparta ION RX+ functioned properly, but started having problems. Every now and then there is a power loss. There must be something wrong with the battery. When checking the voltage it all goes wrong. I cause a short and soon we have a dangerous situation where a big fire could have started. The damage caused by the short makes a BMS-replacement necesary. We replace it by a generic BMS made by Daly (10S 30A).
Does that solve the problem? Watch till the end and discover what really caused the powerloss issues.
!!: this procedure is not without danger. Know what you are doing if you are gonna try this. The replacement only works if you converterd the rest of the e-bike into a generic AliExpress ebike.

Hallo, dan heb jij wel geluk. Bij mijn ion rxplus laat de controller geen stroom meer door nadat er een rode voedingsdraad los was gekomen. Mvg
Dag, ik sta op t punt om de cellen van een ION accu 500 PMU4 36V te vervangen. Nu zie ik dat jij die helemaal hebt omgebouwd.
Mijn vraag is, of dat noodzakelijk is als de BMS nog goed functioneert?
Als het BMS nog functioneert, dan zou ik die hergebruiken want anders kon je wel eens tegen andere problemen aan gaan lopen. Bijv. de communicatie met de controller en display.
