Do not buy from Ted Christensen or Big Reds Boards(read the description)

It's been a long time coming, but I'm finally ready to get some stuff out about by experience with Ted Christensen @ Big Red's Boards. Believe me, this is just the tip of the ice berg, but i recorded this video last year on Nov 8th, nearly 6 MONTHS AFTER I STARTED THE COMMISSIONING PROCESS for this unit. TBH, the only reason i think i received this board when i did is because I harassed him for nearly two months after nearly no communication to send my parts, as he had no perceived timeline as to when my board would be ready 4 months after everything had been ordered.
This video was recorded immediately after unboxing. it had not been ridden at all by me at the time. just me documenting what was received. What you see in the thumbnail is the Battery pack case mounts ripped completely out of the deck because they were not installed properly. On top of that, the power button had several broken solder joints and would not turn on consistently until I resoldered all the connections myself. This was a direct result of absolute ass cable management crushing the backside of the RGB power button. To top all of this off, I had been convinced by Ted to purchase a "custom Skin" which consisted of a satin print laminated to the deck with resin. Sounds simple enough, right? Ted's partner installed the skin upside down and there were so many bubbles and imperfections in the resin, it looked like it was the first time whoever installed it had ever worked with resin before.
All that being said, here's the big issue:
Ted dissolved the company and ran from a shit ton of unsuspecting clients that were waiting for their parts and builds. Several people had mailed him full builds and cash for modifications that he never completely or returned!!! Last i heard, he moved to Utah to pursue something completely unrelated to Eskate. I wish this guy was an honorable dude, but that is simply not the case. From what i understand, this guy had/has a severe substance abuse problem and burned up tens of thousands of dollars from his customers on drugs and then ran the moment the heat got turned up. He should be in jail for fraud.
I happen to be lucky enough to have actually received what i had paid for, even though it looked like it was created by a strung out meth head(which it probably was). There are quite a few more details to this story that i hope to put up in a future vid. I have entire text threads with this dude going off over shit that had nothing to do with me that i plan to include if i get around to making a full play by play. In the meantime, enjoy the find craftsmanship that is "big red's boards" at their peak.
