Your pronunciation of their names was one of the better from non-scandinavian language speakers.
At risk of being caught for being incompetent as a Norwegian, a-ha is amazing. Their music is melancholic lyrics combined with catchy music. When they also have great musical qualities, appear as intelligent and good people, have a vocalist with a voice and a look that surpasses most, then you have a combination that is the recipe for success.
I can also mention that a-ha holds two records in the Guinness Book of Records. The highest number of paying audiences with 198,000 in Rock in Rio in 1991, and 20.2 seconds for the longest same-pitch vocal note in a song on the European top 40 list with "Summer moved on".

So nice of you! Actually, apart from they talent, they seem to be good people. Did they ever sing in Norwegian?

As far as I know, they have never sung in Norwegian as a-ha, but Morten has released two albums with Norwegian lyrics in addition to 4 with English lyrics.
I added a-has records in the previous comment. Here is Morten's long note.
At this concert he apparently was ill, that may be why the tone breaks for a moment, there. I guess the record is for the vocal performance on the studio version, but I have seen him keep it in concert recordings as well.

@@AlmostDon That's sweet of you to say. To us Norwegians, at first it was a bit strange to hear Morten sing in Norwegian, even though it should have been the most natural thing. Maybe it is because he uses his voice in a different way than with a-ha? Which is done on purpose, to create the divide between the two of them. He does the same on his albums in English.

Yo soy esa persona que ha vivido en una cueva, porque sólo había escuchao Take on me, pero no sabía de quién era. Habrá que investigar este grupo.

They are underrated for sure! Maybe because they are Norwegian? 🤔

  • @beyondthebasicsinpolish

Mine too. A-ha is still one of my favorites and Morten is sooo cool. Hunting High and Low is one of my favorite albums

I didn't know that they had so many hits, even though I was listening those songs! I didn't connect the dots. 🙃
    Thanks for that! 😉

I had the same feeling, I heard Stay on these roads and others but didn't know it was from them. Is't it weird?

They did NOT split up after Analogue. You forgot Foot of the Mountain which was released between Analogue and Cast In Steel!

@@AlmostDon now I can see that the band name is in the title of your video. But I really didn't see that. I don't care what is the title of your video, when I see a new one, I just run it and enjoy watching.

☺️ Don't worry, I noticed you watched it without knowing it was a-ha, but actually it is even better like that
