We’re nearly in 2021! I hope to see lots of content for TMNT by Playmates toys, Nickelodeon and others. Hopefully Rise still gets a season 3 after the movie because I feel like that there is still much that needs to be touched on like Leo’s new position as the leader and their full journey to become heroes, it would be a shame to see it might not continue because it seems to be growing on former haters of the show. I do hope that Playmates does come out with something new and original next year so that I can start collecting TMNT figures again (due to the second assortment of Rise’s toys not being available for over a year in the UK). Also can’t wait for your top 10 episodes for season 6 and 7 (Fast forward and Back to the sewers) for the 2003 series and season 5 (Tales of the TMNT) for the 2012 series.
Happy late Christmas! I'm not too much into collecting but some of the action figures that I've seen that look pretty cool is the recent tmnt vs batman ones from the movie. They still sell around game stop I noticed a couple weeks ago which I thought was pretty cool!
Unfortunately I would have to agree that rhe next chapter tmnt thing that's going around might not be anything. I dont know, just seems like something for the new movie that's coming out? That's my hypothesis anyway!

Give that 2012 got five whole seasons and Rise only got 1 and a half, it would be so unfair if 2012 got another season :/ also, what would they even do? Like, all of 2012's storylines were wrapped up and all their villains were defeated save for Tigerclaw, but he couldn't hold a whole season arc as the main baddie. Maybe it's just my bias, but 2012 had its time in the sun. Either let Rise finish up its planned 3 season story, or start a new incarnation (though I do agree, Nick should wait at least 3 or 4 years before a new series. If Rise didn't come out immediately after 2012, I don't think hardcore 2012 fans would've been as harsh towards it.)
There's material for a new season, for example Fugitoid is alive which gives like 2 or 3 episodes, also Renet and what said to Mikey, Monalisa working with the Mutanimals, a Leorai kiss, the turtles having vacations maybe ,because in all the episodes they had someone to fight with, it would be cool to see them have a normal day.
I do agree, Rise was mainly untreated unfairly mainly due to the fact that it only came out immediately after 2012 that rubbed fans of the series the wrong way. I’m personally a fan of 2012 and thought that the show was 100% awesome and had great writing, characters, action and many other things and fleshed out everything what they could do possible and really the only reason why season 5 (Tales of the TMNT) was really made was because the crew wanted to wrap up the stories though out the show. When Rise first premiered I didn’t think much of it until I saw both of seasons 1 and 2 of the show which really changed my view in it, mainly in the last 5 episodes of season 2 (“Battle nexus:New York” to “Rise”). What I’m trying to say is that 2012 was a good show and was great to have but it had its time and I think that it’s time for Rise to at least get more time in the light.
@@adrianacarrera3255 ...You do remember that Leo and Karai are half-siblings in that series right? Even if they weren't raised as siblings, Splinter referred to both of them as his children and they both have his DNA. So uh, yeah, maybe DON'T have them kiss. Other than that, I do agree that some slice-of-life stuff could be fun, but idk how that could hold a whole season/hold viewers' attention given that most 2012 fans seem to enjoy the action and ongoing arcs of the series the most
@@ronjoe17, in 2012 the turtles aren’t blood related to Splinter like they are in Rise due to them having his DNA, Karai is Splinter’s actual daughter though in 2012. So technically the turtles and Karai are adopted siblings rather than half, it would still be weird though if Karai and Leo were dating/in love still.

When I heard "next chapter", my mind sort of connected it to "next generation". What if it's a series focused on the kids/students of the TMNT? Lol, that would certainly be one way to refresh the franchise. Idk how well it would go over, but for a studio like Nick, I could see them trying something that extreme to see if it sticks
oh my god I am so hyped for tmnt 2012. This is my favorite series and nickelodeon delivered on this series. I can't wait to see these turtles return especially raph. I don't care whether it's a movie or a season. Hopefully the 2003 and 2012 turtles can meet

It's a pretty dark series, but I'm enjoying it so far! Also, yeah, it got delayed again: it's coming out in February.
I hope that "Next Chapter" series will be about the adult turtles like we saw in the Image Comics run
Hi there my name is Everett and I'm visually impaired completely and as somebody who the fan of the 2012 series I really hope that it is a 2012 series because I feel like it'd be nice to get a season 6 to get closure to wrap everything up you know I think that'd be really do you know not a big fan of Rise I know a lot of people like it I don't at all I just think it's way too Kitty for me you know it's way too committed for me there's no serious moments sometimes like there is but it just you know we're not giving enough time with these characters but you know I hope that you know that it is that it is the 2012 series cuz I would love to see a sixth season or maybe possibly even a 7th season who knows but I think it should be I think it is at least should get two more seasons at least it'd be nice and then if we get a 6th and 7th Season we can get other figures like pigeon pea we can get you know other characters that didn't get a figure like Shinigami and maybe Curry's foot soldiers maybe we can get a zombie Shredder I would love to get a zombie Shredder that be nice I wish NECA would make figures based on the 2012 series that's probably something they probably will never do but you never know

For the tmnt 2012, it could have something to do with the fugitoid. He is still alive, as shown by the end of season 4 I think, so it could have something to do with that 🤷♀️

Maybe but it seems a bit to late to me, the best time to do something relating to the Fugitoid in 2012 was to have him return in the 2 part episode arc (When worlds collide) which was supposed to wrap up the turtle’s space and alien adventures. Also I don’t think that they would do a big teaser for just a ally of the turtles it might just be about a potential new show, comic series or movie.
