- Slashuur, an utrom villain turned ally, was one of the most badass TMNT characters that never was, outside of this video game. Guessing Konami created the character and have the rights.

The amount of effort they put into this character was astonishing. He could have easily become a legit TMNT 2003 character.
1:05 would have been perfect for shredder’s revenge dlc lol mercenary.

I agree with that. It was dissappointed he did not get added in. Did Konami just come up with the character, so he's just a Konami character, and Konami did not give them permission to use him in the cartoon? I think TMNT is not fully owned by Konami, so I think Konami should have allowed them to use him in the cartoon. I noticed Konami only did the TMNT games. I think Ubisoft did the later TMNT games. I also noticed Aska from TMNT Tournament Fighters on SNES, and I read that she was only in that game. Originally, Mitsu from the third live TMNT movie was going to be playable in the game, but she was replaced by Aska. Was it the same for Slashuur? Was Slashuur originally supposed to be a character from the cartoon, but he never came in, so Slashuur took his place. It would have been cool if they appeared in the TMNT cartoon. Why is Karai playable in Battle Nexus? Why would she help the heroes? She is a villian.
@@bennel3588 The probable reason behind this was that Mirage Studios, the creators of 2003 TV series, didn't come up with good solution of putting Slashuur into the cartoon.
There were already a lot of characters in the series. Slashuur wouldn't get enough screen time. On this regard, even retailing his history in 2-minute scene wouldn't make much sense. The canon would have to be heavily rewritten and still, people would raise a lot of questions. Introducing Slashuur as is, explaining it like "You must play TMNT 2: BN to know all his history" wouldn't work, although nowadays it's a known solution.

Honestly it’s a damn shame slashuur never showed up in the series again not only was he a hard boss the first time around but he was a really interesting character I hope he can eventually make his way to a cartoon or comic that would be awesome

In my opinion Slashuur could take down Shredder easily. Dude can teleport, has enhanced speed and has fucking shields! Dude is OP
now I know why they didn't have him up in the series because they knew that if they had him up in the show shredder wouldn't be in the rest of the seasons
My theory is when slashuur said he "sustained mortal wounds, then had the power to travel through space and time at the cost of memory" he was referring to a fight he had with the shredder after the massacre of the utroms.

Slashour is a character perfect to use in idw comics i hope one day someone use him in other media that isint just games and i dont know if nickelodeon have slashour s rights since he is from a game that was made by konami the same can be said about aska from tmnt touroment fighters

Then I wouldn't get the cutscene or boss fight after the mission, so...I just did the mission again and again until I'd get the boss fight, just to lose until I finally managed to beat him.
Nearly shit myself out of joy when I realized he was actually unlocked.
