Charlotte, I feel like you and Nate have carried us through the horrific’ ness of 2020. This year has been especially tough on me. My older brother had a stroke, I had a heart attack the same week and we lost our beloved kitty, Zoe, on March 25. No amount of consoling helped, except binge watching your videos. It got me through it. Your can-do attitude and sweetness and joy for life helps. It means some thing. Thank you for all you do and will continue to do.

I feel as though last year’s lamb cake incident was just indicative of the year I was having as a whole. I’m grateful to be able to look back on it and laugh now. But my word was it tough to live it all. Grateful for you and your videos - definitely a bright spot and something to look forward to! Here’s to many better times ahead 💛 🍸

I would bake the lamb cake in the pans separately instead of stacking them. Then shave the tops flat and stick them together with fronting. Not sure if that's how it's traditionally made but it will help the cake be more full!

I have never liked the sound of my own voice and don’t know anyone who likes the sound of theirs. Maybe you just have REALLY confident friends. In any case, just know that I actually really like the sound of your voice and have always found it really soothing. 💝
Would it be easier to fill each side of the lamb mould separately and then,after baking them, stick them together with icing in the middle?it turned out beautiful anyway ❤❤❤❤
Yeah, I've never seen the mold put together for baking. I assumed the instructions said to do that?

I loved your lamb cake! Every year mine get worse and worse. I think next Easter I'm going to put M&M's in for the eyes and then put false eyelashes on it. On a happier note, I have to admit that I had never heard of a lamb cake before until I watched your video last year. I was born and raised in Spain (I live in the states now) and I did know about dyeing eggs from watching American sitcoms and movies and attending an American school but I had never heard of this type of cake before. Glad you guys had so much fun making it. You always make each holiday so festive. I have to admit I have taken some tips and inspiration from your ideas and videos. Our family consists of my husband and I and several kitties (pets and fosters) (that are Iike our children) why shouldn’t we make things extra special “just” for us?
The bunny molds look like cookie presses..? But a good speculaas dough could be amazing in them!

If I wanted to make a shaped cake I would crumble cake and mix it with buttercream as if I was making cake pops or truffles and just shape like a sculpture, I made a Christmas pudding shaped cake that way last Christmas

Wonderful video! My Mom used to make a bunny cake from 2 cake round. One for the bunny face and then divide the second for ears and a bow tie. Vanilla frosting then cover with coconut and decorate with candy for the face (i.e string licorice for whiskers). We are all hanging on that string with you girlfriend. Things are turning around and better times are coming! Hang in there and thank you for all the wonderful videos this last year. They are a bright spot for so many of us!
I don’t like the sound of my own voice either! There have actually been times where I’ve heard a recording of myself and not even realized it was me at first. It’s just such a weird thing! I’m glad I’m not the only one!! 😄

Easter Parade is a fabulous movie. I don’t know what “old” movies you have watched vs. have but I can suggest a few-Rear Window (Alfred Hitchcock), Harvey, and Mr. Smith Goes to Washington -they all star Jimmy Stewart (most amazing actor ever!). Also Withering Heights (the book is fabulous too). Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Roman Holiday are terrific. My absolute favorite favorite favorite is Gaslight! That one you must watch!
