- This Roller Coaster Was Horrific!!!
Which roller coaster is this you ask? Antelope at Gulliver's World in Warrington is a self built wooden roller coaster constructed by the park themselves and opened back in 1995.
Antelope reaches heights of up to 30ft, lasts a total of 1 minute and 50 seconds from beginning to end and features very contrasting ride experiences depending on where you sit - although most are very, VERY rough nowadays.
Gulliver's World's iconic wooden roller coaster is also the perfect starting point for younger thrill seekers wanting to get their first taste of the 'bigger' rides too.
Sitting at the back though? That's a WHOLE different experience altogether(as you'll see)!!

The back row is SO painful! We went this week and i insisted on waiting for the front!
Dont know whats happened to it but a couple of years ago it was a fun little coaster, but I was shocked this time at how slow it was! Just chugs along like a car about to break down, dislodging each intervertebral disk in the process!

Went on Bank Holiday Monday and can confirm the ride is no better on the middle carriages, genuinely thought I cracked a rib on the last drop, good ride but rough as hell, desperately needs refurbing, think the last redo was 2005 and it shows.

I took my son on this when he was just over the height limit. They tried to put us at the back but I refused and would only go on the front after some of the reviews I’d seen about how rough the back is !
