    Do you always add cream at the end rather than in the pressure cook? Is there a ratio of pasta to liquid as a rule?

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  Před rokem +1

      I usually o-others will add it before cooking. I usually do 4 cups per pound of pasta and 2 cups for 1/2 pound. thanks!

    Looks very watery. Does the sauce thicken up, on standing?

    Hi Lisa. I made this dish tonight but had a time mashing up the sausage like you did. It was difficult. Did you take the casing off first or perhaps buy sausage without casing? I struggled. Otherwise excellent meal. I did only cook the pasta for 4 minutes to achieve el dente. It was mostaccioli perhaps that made a difference.

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Terry! Use either loose sausage or remove casing and get the OXO tool or I did see a smaller version at the Dollar Tree- I’ll pick one up and give it a try. I used a wooden spoon for years and then tried the meat chopped tool- so much easier.
      Yeah and I think the different style of pastas make a difference for cook time.
      Thanks Terry!

    Hi Lisa, I am going to write that recipe down and cook this exactly as you have done it, it looked so delicious the only thing is the sausages I don't know where I could get Italian sausages like the ones you used but I shall make my dish with the sausages that I like, did you take off the skins or did you buy the sausages with no skins on?

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  Před 4 lety

      Thanks David! Bummer you can’t use Italian sausage- so good! I removed the casings but use whichever you have. The recipe is in the video description. Thanks David!

    • @Cattitude48
      @Cattitude48 Před 4 lety +2

      Most grocery stores have both sweet and hot Italian sausage. Sometimes you can get it in the pre-packaged meats and a some meat counters have it. But the recipe would taste good with whatever kind you like I bet.

    If I use elbow macaroni how long do I PC it? I was thinking 7 min? Great recipe!

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  Před 4 lety

      I think 7 minutes would be too long. Elbows are not as thick as penne pasta. I would probably do 5 or 6 minutes. If the pasta is not cooked enough for you can can simmer it for a few minutes and it will continue to cook.
      Another viewer said that when he made this that his water notice came up- you can add a 1/4 cup for water/broth to this. I made this twice and did not get the water signal. Thanks Loretta!
      Let me know how it comes out for you.

    С тем же успехом можно было использовать мясной фарш вместо колбасы. Просто добавить в него специй. А так, зачем было кромсать колбасу, не понятно.

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  Před 4 lety +1

      I made this twice just to make sure it would work. And others have said it worked. Did you stir the crushed tomatoes and sausage? I would say to add 1/4 cup more water. I'm sorry this didn't work for you. I will go back and check the recipe.

    • @pressurecrisp
      @pressurecrisp  Před 4 lety

      I have noticed that different brands of pasta require different amounts of water. I would up the water either to 1 3/4 cups of water or 2 cups of water.
