- Whelp... as reactors we aren't up to date on what's happening at all times with the metal community. I uploaded this video and somehow immediately saw on twitter the backlash Architects in getting online. WHOA! And rightfully so... As Cam is Non-Binary and I 100% got the back of anyone within the queer community... we had no idea, which sucks to find out since we like/liked Architects so much. This will be our last reaction to Architects for the time being. We were also thinking what are the odds we talked about inclusivity at the end of this video!?! -Matt & Camryn

@@QBrute_ Their guitar player has reposted some pretty homophobic stuff on twitter. They made one small on stage statement but not anywhere else. And when they got called out for it they just started blocking everybody. It’s been an interesting situation from what I’ve been reading up on so far.

It doesn't make sense to me that some people are still like that in our modern times. There's absolutely no reason... I hope that Architects will do the reasonable thing and deal with their guitarist accordingly. But judging from their reaction so far, I don't have high hopes

Man, I have been traveling sooooo much recently with my show we haven't had much time to do any reaction stuff. We actually filmed this like two months ago and I finally edited it.

By the way, I like the style of your gothic daughter, she has a somewhat supernatural beauty with that style.
This song is supposed to be a direct call out to the “old fans” who kept crying for them to go back to being a heavy band. I remember in 2012 or 2013 hanging out with them prior to putting on a show for them, and being shown their soon to come out album. Sam hyped it up as “the next album is gonna sound like Pink Floyd.” It did not sound like that at all, but it was a start towards them trending away from heavy music.
I like when bands experiment and evolve… sometimes it doesn’t work, sometimes that’s the key. Some fans only want band to sound the exact same every album.

I love bmth, but it's not "their vibe" like other bands haven't done it. This song is a general formula on how to do a song. It was done that way on purpose. Hundreds of bands do it. They did it as a "F you" to fans who want that generic formula.
Admire you both, I really enjoy your content, as a non binary person I am disappointed in Architects as well and hope they learn from this. Cam, you’re not alone and know from one non-binary person to another you rock, continue to rock, you are amazing.
