This was their first track they released since they lost their founding member/main songwriter Tom Searle as a result of Skin Cancer back in 2016. He was also Drummer Dan Searle's twin brother. I'd definitely recommend checking out some of their older stuff though, as much you'll probably/definitely get requests for stuff more recent than this one. Tom wrote a lot/most of their lyrics as well as composing their older tracks & you can really hear & pick up on that passion & singular focus in those tracks. Their 2014 record "Lost Forever//Lost Together" is still one of the best modern metalcore records out there to this day, in my opinion.

Can't go wrong with a single track from either Ruin or Hollow Crown.

Cancer sucks and how tragic. I will definitely keep that in mind as I dig into their catalog

I think that the most of people that reacts to this video don't figure out that the main character is Dan Searle (The Drummer) acting like his brother Tom (lead guitarist) going to the stars during his dead, is a very sad song, this is when Architects finally, finally after many song dedicated to Tom says "Goodbye Brother, will see you soon".

It’s amazing how music can explain and relate to all the emotions you’re going through. This song is something special

The best answer for song to listen to by them next is Gone With The Wind. While this was the first song after Tom Searle passed away, Gone With The Wind was one of the last before. It’s from an album where he wrote everything including lyrics, and in Gone With The Wind specifically you can really get a sense of his headspace during the last few months of his life. One of the most raw emotional songs I’ve ever heard.

Yep. That entire album is unreal to the point that I don't expect to hear something as impactful as that in the next decade or more.

I will need to watch this. It sounds like it’s an incredibly special song and a window into his soul

I’d recommend not starting with Seeing Red but come back to that after a few of their older tracks

What you didn't realize is that the main "star" of the video is in fact the drummer for the band, Dan Searle.

If you're a fan of this one, check out some stuff from the album All Our God's Have Abandoned Us they put out. 2 major highlights for me are Gone With The Wind and Gravity. Gravity in particular has a seriously incredible soundscape that makes me feel like I'm sitting in the crowd every single time I listen to it.

Please, react to "Le Tombeau De Couperin" Prélude by classical guitar duo Henderson & Kolk. The piece is composed by Maurice Ravel for piano, being the opening part for "Le Tombeau De Couperin" which contains 6 partd dedicated to his friends who died in The First World War.
