this is the first kick i learned to do by myself. after my daily workout, i would practice some punches and kicks. saw this, liked it, practiced it every other day or when just standing around. now it’s muscle memory

You wouldn't be able to land the kick during sparring, they would see it coming from a mile away.

This would be an awful kick to do in sparring. The point of sparring is to get the point and keep the point not show off flashy kicks and loose
@@TKDTerry it all depends on timing, if you force it then obvi it won’t work. People thought the same thing about the spinning hook kick, but when used properly it is the key kick to a hard knock out in sparring. I’ve seen flashy kicks in sparring and one of them fractured another guys rib, even with the protective gear. Don’t be so quick to shut down certain techniques without looking into them more. Again I’m not saying they can be used all the time, and are the most practical. Definitely not, but they are still useful.

Technically, from the viewpoint of someone who studies taekwondo, kofi does a tornado kick then falls on his chest,not a 540..specially since 540 is really used to show off and not as much to fight
180 grounded + 360 in air + 180 grounded makes it sound way easier, although its still hard as shit
