  • In the mountains of northern Spain, farmers and laypeople have competed in rural Strongman sports for generations. Stone lifting, wood cutting, bale tossing - the sports themselves carried over from years of manual labor, of daily life surviving off the land. LEVANTADORES introduces this rich culture which has helped influence a generation of modern day Strongman who are doing what they can to keep this heritage alive.

I admire Rogue for making a documentary highlighting the rich culture of the Basque strongmen in which not a single reference to a Rogue product was made. It's obvious this documentary (and indeed the entire series) was made out of a desire to show the place strength has held in so many of the world's cultures and not simply to be a commercial.

I have Basque bloodlines and have always been fascinated with the culture and proud to showcase my family tree as my father and his family has shown it to me. As someone who is into lifting and fitness, I never knew that Basque country was big into lifting, let alone having its own sport, and having Rogue recognize it none the less! This video did an amazing job showcasing the culture and these men's passion for the sport. This stone lifting seems to show the true test of strength!

Me encanta el norte de España. En general todo el norte, es precioso. Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, Pais Vasco, etc.
