    Is a phantom spirit or peerless assassin better?

    • @bodasactra
      @bodasactra Před 3 měsíci +3

      Yes, much better and far less money. Hardware Canucks did serious in house testing and found them best in performance and price. The Phantom Spirit was best and the lowest price was an insane $28. They are taking over the market with just crazy value to performance.

      @@bodasactra thanks a lot for the reply. Btw is there any big difference between the evo and se versions? Again thanks lot bro 🙏🏽

      @@viet.54. No problem. The SE was slightly better than the Evo due to fan differences. Hardware Canucks said the PS SE fans were better engineered for it's fin stack design and that the Evo lacked that precise balance. The Phantom Spirit SE is the best value to performance air cooler you can buy IMO and many test channels agree on that. Amazon had the gray version for $28 plus $11 shipping. I went with the black top with unpainted fin stack version for $35 as it was cheaper overall with the free shipping that kicks in at $35. The black fin stack of the Evo is pointless, it can't be seen hidden behind the fan. I highly recommend the black top version, its cheaper, looks great, beefy looking as all hell, performs best, and it cost the least of all versions with the free shipping.

    Noctua NH-D15 chromax might be enough to cool a 14900k ?

    • @mrpoopybutthole666
      @mrpoopybutthole666 Před 6 měsíci +1

      I have the same question in mind. theoretically, double-tower top model cooler should handle 150-200 w easely. however, this 14900k beast could generate a way more heat in peak loads

    • @commodorex
      @commodorex Před 6 měsíci +4

      Check their TDP, the NH-D15 has a limit of about 220w, meanwhile the 14900k can create up to 253w of heat, meaning the cooler will not be enough when doing anything intensive. I'd recommend the AK620 dual tower, it has a limit of 263w but is a bit bulky and can get a little louder under maximum load.

      I think @commodorex answer is perfect, I personally aiming to build a PC with the i9 14000k and thinking to have the BeQuiet Dark Rock Elite as it reaches the 280w TDP, necessary performance, since I will also have the 4080RTX. All in all the safest option for cooling is AIO, but the life span is 2-3 as I have read from other reviewers and also you might get into other issues such as leaking and damage to the system modules. So it feel risky and since the air coolers now can cover the requirement (at least number wise) I don't see why not !

      @@matman2512 Мощность процессора можно немного снизить. Тем самым понизить температуру. А вот если протечет aio то уже ничего не поможет.😢
