I really like mine. The only super minor criticism I would have is the moonlight runtimes are only a few days, which is quite low for the 21700 based torch/flashlight.
There is a product called Aluminum Black if you want to try and touch up those scratches. I'm not sure how well the colors will match, but the product is supposed to dye the aluminum darker to hide the scratches better
There are some lights made by wuben and acebeam that use active fan cooling which can sustain a bit higher power. Nitecore also made flashlight with a cast host, which can give slightly better heat transfer being that the heatsink for the led and the outershell casing is one piece.
@@Wavefront101 i know that active heat cooling exists, I own a few myself, but first of all they are expensive and second they never ever produce enough cooling to run LED and LEP at the same time. Not even about talking the batterie being drained in less then 3 seconds if it has to run 3 avtice systems at the same time
Omg these are the type of lights I really really love to collect ! Looks very high tech and tactical. Not the typical tubular looking light. Gotta have it. EDIT: Wait what?!? Can’t turn both channels on at the same time??? Very disappointing. If it drains the battery too quickly then should have made it a little bigger to accommodate an additional battery. Don’t know now. However since you can focus the lep that make up for it. Gotta have it
Best for collection, but it is fun to okay with them as well. I regret scratching mine the 3rd day, but they could include bigger battery and true dual channel design. That k you for your comment 💪
Great review! Quick question. I noticed that there are two different versions of the Acebeam M1 for sale. One is LEP and 5000K LED and the other is the LEP and 6500K LED. The difference in price is about USD$21 dollars. What is the difference between both and which would you chose? Thanks for any info.
Reviewed version is 5000K and it features Hi CRI Nichia LEDs for better color rendering and more pleasant beam. 6500K is standard cool white light for more efficiency.
Love mine, BUT hate that the leps lens scratches easily, from being in my pocket just a few days(yet my sofirn if22a only has a few, after about a year of being there with same other items, - includes beach sand, i live at one, and spend hours on it each day). Tried polishing them out, mistake. Lens has a coating on it, which has mostly gone now, (why is coating on outside of lens?), but did remove some of the shallower ones. So now keep it in a soft pouch, which is a dam nuisance, for the extra time and hassle before i can use it. So have mostly just gone back to the IF22a as my always in pocket torch.
It does remember last used mode per channel, however Turbo is not memorized. So, If I used low mode in LEP than switch to High mode in flood and return to LEP - it will go to low mode in LEP and than back to High mode in flood.
does your m1 LEP protrude a red ring SPILL at close range for some reason I started to see a little more spill or a red ring out side of the beam after a few weeks if usage I wonder if it was normal?
As cool of a solution this is, I’ll stick to 2 lights as edc. A compact LEP and a nice flooder. That way the flooder is always on and the thrower for distance viewing.
You can check Acebeam Terminator M1 here: acebeamflashlight.sjv.io/1roVex
Do you have any experience with Acebeam's MAO finishes compared to their anodizing as far as durability goes? The M1 is now available with MAO finish.
Zoomable LEP's are truly the future of throwers! Thanks for the review, great as always 🙂👍
Thanks, I hope we see more of such designs in the nearest future
This is a great light, took a lot for me to drop this kind of cash on a flashlight but now that I have it, worth it!
Highly appreciated, enjoy your light 👍

That also cought my attention, 2.8 days for a 21700 battery? Look at Olight 60 days of runtime... :D
Or the Thrunite T3 that claims 133 days even on a 4000mAh 21700@@FlashlightEnthusiast
Great flashlight, thanks for the review!
The pleasure is mine 👍

Thanks, I will definitely check it out!
The only thing missing is the ability to turn on LED AND LEP at the same time.
That would drain the battery in no time, just like most dual channel Hanklights... Good point my friend!
Bro thinks Torchlight run on watercoolers💀

It’s crazy to use 2 light sources, what’s the point of having light in your work according to philosophy? Each for his own craft.
I LOVE MINE ❤
favourite flashlight at the moment !!!

You can do both on the m2, however the spotlight is not an lep, but an led
Its a perfect light to me.
If its in your pocket make sure you don't put your keys or other items in it !
Glad it suits your needs. Enjoy your M1!
@FlashlightEnthusiast Thank you 😊
And thank you for your review 😊
NO! where's my intro???? No "Flaaashlight enthusiast here"????
Surprise surprise 🫢

W35 it's scratched to hell idk if I'm rough on my lights or acebeam had some weird lenses
If i am in turbo flood and then i switch to lep,i will be also in turbo or in the last level memorized?

Could he from anti reflective coating (although I would expect it to be purple color)
It seems hard to carry on your belt does it have sheath
No sheath in the set and no pocket clip. Maybe some wider holster could fit, I believe it was intended for pocket carry or backpack
This is the only flashlight that i have a lanyard on. Just in case i drop my M1. As i said before I love the M1 but it is a little awkward to hold !

Throw it away the ano is screwed up and looks shity
