Have you heard about Marvel's spider man remastered is releasing on pc in August even though it is a play station exclusive. I saw the it on epic games. I don't have a play station and spider man is a game i really want to play so i am soo excited.

So, Guernsey (where this mission is set) is in the Channel Islands. I live on the largest of these Islands (Jersey) and I can literally see Guernsey as I type this. Glad that the Channel islands are getting some recognition. I mean, these Islands were in German hands for the entire war and we still have all the bunkers and hospitals intact.

That's what I like about SE5. They used ACTUAL locations instead of SE4 Allagra. They used Beaumont Saint-Denis, Guernsey, St. Nazaire and more. I especially want to visit the u-boat pens of St. Nazaire one day
Having lived in Jersey and worked in the underground hospital there, but I not know there's was a underground hospital in Guernsey as well...

I'm currently on my 9th run, this game is incredible! Started out going balls to the wall maximum carnage now working on pure stealth runs with melee kills only

these figures are not santa clausses, that are garden gnomes. back in the days they were used to decorate german gardens. nowadays they are pretty rare.

I've been playing this and it's much better than i thought it would be. The levels are huge and the weapons though not very realistic are great fun to use.
finished it yesterday, 3 and 4 were the hardest levels for me.

I used to live in Guernsey and I can confirm that that tower at 8m 30s is a real structure. It's also now an Air BnB and you can actually stay in it.
The Mirus Battery as mentioned later on in the mission that you have to destroy had four 30.5cm guns in it. It was originally called "Batterie Nina" before it was renamed to Mirus. Each barrel was nearly 16 METRES long and could fire a range of ordnance over very long distances. This was why the channel islands was literally a no go zone for allied forces. With a potential range of 51,000m with 250 kg high-explosive shells, and 32,000m with the heavier 405 kg armour-piercing or high-explosive shells - anything approaching by sea would be blown out of the water PDQ at a velocity of 1020m/s !
The underground German hospital tunnels in Guernsey are very eye opening, as is the story of how the UK and Churchill LITERALLY abandoned the Channel Islands in WW2. Weirdly enough, the devs for this mission have ACTUALLY used the Underground hospital tunnels that are in Jersey? The Guernsey ones are a little smaller and not so impressive in size and complexity as the Jersey ones?
If top UK brass had rushed to fortify the Channel Islands against the Germans as soon as they could, the whole of the West coast french campaign would have been very very different indeed. It would have provided a much needed fortified staging point for Allied troops, a strategic heavy artillery bombardment point and would also have been a vital supply line route for France.
Another accurate building that's used in this mission is the martello tower when you exited the church on the zip line and said "oh there's a tank". You'll find them all over Guernsey and Jersey (although to a slightly lesser extent), they were actually round, thick walled, stone built cannon towers that Napoleon installed. The Germans then took them over and used them as coastal fortifications, even building their concrete fortifications on to them to extend them for more modern combat purposes.

Authentic mode is the only fun way I find it fun. Theres so many tools that help you, it can feel cheap. Even during invasions. I found using focus mode can tell you general direction of the invader. Once they're inside your mini map, it highlights the whole mini map.
If it wasn’t for this guy I wouldn’t of been intrigued by Sniper elite 5

Something to note that'll be a big help since you don't have the hud is taking out the alarm boxes so they can't call in reinforcements.
It would be so cool and funny to have jackfrags infiltrating your map and see how it turns out 😁

I don't know if Rebellion can even do this given the map designs but Co-Op invasions (2v2 or 3v3) on these maps could be spectacular fun. Great game already though.

Mark with binoculars and check the top right... you will see the enemies distance. Zero your rifle to that distance... Adjust for wind (the top line at to of the scope with the white vertical bar) and pull the trigger for maximum effect 🤯

It would of been cool if the maps had been a lot bigger and we could use vehicles, be fun exploring the maps with a buddy in multiplayer and some missions where theirs tanks it would be cool to steal one and blend in and then just open fire on an armored column hiding in the scrub then get out and proceed on foot to a different location with totally different tactics and styles of play, theirs so much potential for a future SE6 rebellion should get on this and make the game more open for all kinds of play styles.

Festung Guernsey was a catwalk compared to Spy Academy, I think it was brutal.
What difficulty do you recommend?
rechambering with that rifle is a serious issue. I'd drop it and pick up a Mauser off a dead krout.

Unfortunately it looks like this is another glitched kill challenge, where you can't use the setup. I had to knock him out and throw him in. And while I'm thinking of it, 7 is like 2, don't push the button, use a gun.

It's kind of hilarious that they include non-lethal options in this game. Like I would ever spare a Nazi's life. That's what Nazis are for: killing in increasingly painful and hilarious ways.
