I don't think this short clip shows that she has to "live like this", because she can't get a container open. This video doesn't even show how she lives or how independent/dependent she is other than an inference that she probably lives in a normal house and someone probably wasn't at her house to help her in this one moment. My grandma turns 90 this year and she is fully independent, wants to be fully independent, has lived alone for 26 years in the house and and my grandpa built in the 50s, and is able to drive herself around for the errands she needs to run or if she wants to hang out with friends or family. I could see her having trouble opening a container like this and going to her neighbor's house for help opening it, but in her doing that would be no reflection on her ability to live independently... which again, we don't even know the living conditions of the woman in this video.
So many of us have lost the respect we should have our elders and don't realize we will eventually age and may need assistance in our senior years. This video gives me hope that some people still honor the aged.

Sister of that picture< sweet lady! She sounded like she was about to cry when she said " thank you"❤ the way some things are sealed, I totally understand!! Keep kitchen scissors! 🙏
Seize every opportunity to share kindness; it costs nothing but feels sooo good.
Kindness goes a long way especially when its helping the elderly !
He was very kind. I would have walked her back to her house to make sure she got there safely and to see if she wanted to talk some more. Seniors are falling all the time. I'm a senior too. ❤
Yes. I was thinking the same thing. She’s elderly and that would have been a nice touch.
