Krazy Buffet was one of the few buffets that were open when I visited my brother in Vegas November 2020, during the pandemic. Food was good! You couldn't serve yourself back then. I've visited Vegas a few more times since, and we've eaten at Krazy Buffet at least two more times. Although I love my snow crab legs, I'm okay with the different crabs they serve at this place. I'll probably eat here on my next trip to Las Vegas.
This has been my 'go to' for Chinese buffet. Not sure on your pizza choice :). The crawfish can be a hit and miss, but still pretty good. I start with two plates of crawfish & shrimp, another two plates of deep fried crab, then move on to regular Chinese staple. Avoid weekends as this place can get a line out the door. The price is up everywhere (9% inflation? huh!).
When my wife and I come to VEGAS from Canada, this is the first place we go to when we pick up our car that we rent. We would go to Vegas just to go and enjoy Crazy Buffet! Oh how we miss this place with this COVID.
Dinner buffet in California is now $30 for a dinner buffet. Lunch is $23. And the food just sit there, till the last scrap is gone. You're lucky to be able to eat like a king at a good price.
I was in town last week and went to one of those highly rated, highly hyped buffets on the strip and I was dissapointed. Nothing really seemed special except for a couple of items. Not worth the money I spent for sure. I now have this one pinned to try when ever I make it back to town. As you said for the price, yo can't go wrong and everthing did look fresh. Thanks.
@@lasvegaseats702 Except for the couple of items, it wasn't much better than cafeteria grade. That is sad to me. I can't justify paying those higher prices for myself. Maybe I should search for more off strip buffets in the future.

i agree with everything you say bruh! this is my go to buffet! if there is anything they could improve is the sushi rice. my favorite food there is the beef tips!!! i come to this buffet just for that!!!

I live in LA and used to go to the better Chinese buffets. Unfortunately, nearly all of them are gone. This one looks great. Everything does look fresh. Look at the beef broccoli. When the broccoli is bright green, you know its fresh. When it sits in a heated pan, it turns grey-ish green.
Part of the enjoyment is the price. lol But the food looks really good and I agree its better than fast a food meal. I enjoy variety. I do not eat shells at all. I don't get how people do it especially shrimp heads and legs. Thanks for your honest opinion. I love chinese food so this place is perfect. The fried foods look good.

UNLV isn't far from the Strip and Chinatown. There really aren't many good buffets, but some of the good ones are the Bacchanal at Caesar's, the Wynn, Wicked Spoon, and the Palms.
I have no idea. But I think the concept is that you will try so many different items that you can't eat all the expensive stuff only. They definitely have tons of customers
I think this place charges at the end of the meal. So if you're there at 3pm and eat dinner items (when they come out), the servers will make sure you pay for the dinner price.

Yeah, buffets are not the same anymore. They used to be much better, and more reasonably priced.

If you blanche it first then put it in ice water before stir fry the broccoli it will stay bright green for a longer time
