The Captain’s crew share their best tips for camping and cruising in a trailerboat. We’re aboard a Whittley CR2380 cruising the Myall Lakes. MB01NUFMRT70MLG
ur a lucky man... beautiful missus prepared to live aboard... beautiful kids around a camp fire ON a beach...This is living!!!... even better is ......Whittley lends you a boat AND a car to tow it! Living the dream buddy! Keep the vids coming...
Pretty good video on live aboard camping. Another tip to make the ice last longer is to freeze some of your drinking water bottles and lay them down on the esky floor. They don't melt as fast as party ice and you can drink them towards the end of the trip.
I would love to do something like this at Lake Eildon, checking out some of the camp sites that are only accessible by boat. But... ive been told that its almost guaranteed that my car will get broken in to if I leave it overnight at the boat ramp.
Best insurance policy, working automatic bilge pump. Check out Timmy Turtles channel to see why, 25ft contender sunk during the night. Bloody terrible waking up to a sunk rig.
I don't think a bilge pump would have saved their boat. My understanding is that they let out the forward and aft anchor before they went to sleep which I don't think is ideal, you want the bum of the boat to swing around. The tides up there are huge and I think people don't understand how much chain and rope you need to avoid catastrophic outcomes like they did.
Great vid mate, although I will have to watch it again to hear what you where saying as the first time I watched it I was busy looking at the scenery😍😍😍👍👍👍
Nice.boat. our.longwat trip.out was 7 days 6 nights. We freeze 4 large blocks of ice and have a freezer/ cooler running on a battery to help us stay out

I watched that what a tragedy to see a boat go like that glad they were all safe
Their anchor and chain looked woeful
i tot its abt the tides what make the boat upside down

@@turbostyler the auto bilge failed during heavy rain overnight the extra weight made anchor drag to the rocks
