- DISCLAIMER: I am not an expert on Ceramic Coatings and the science behind them. I'm just a guy who wanted to easily add a level of convenience to my wheels, making cleaning easier. THIS IS NOT A SCIENTIFIC CALCULATED TEST. I'm just a guy with a backyard and a spray bottle.
I purchased an Amazon ceramic coating kit for my wheels. I had a mixed experience actually performing the coating, but what is the result? In this quick video, I did a very non-scientific water test to see how water rolls off or "beads" on the treated vs non-treated wheel.
Bottom line: It's better but not as good as I expected. I suspect it has a lot to do with my install performance, which I learned a lot from.

Nice video. Can you tell us more about those side skirts and the mud flaps. I have a Model Y which I want to add flaps to and skirts but no idea where to start.
The mudflaps are universal ones. I have a link in one of my videos but you can try this link. I've used em on many cars. As for side skirts, there are probably options for your mY. I just googled it and seems like there are a lot of options.
amzn.to/4aktJvJ - mudflaps. I just trim em and mount. I have a video on installing them
@@Emadifications Thank you! - I will check the link out. Any recommendations for ceramic coatings?
Honestly because it was my first time, I didn't want to go too expensive. I ordered a brand off of Amazon that was well rated. It was like 30 or 40 bucks. I would just search and sort by rating and just buy any of the well rated ones.
