- Back in Manali and the monsoons have set in. We head out to the Manali Wildlife Sanctuary, or like we like to call it "The Psychedelic Valley" because of the very trippy flora and fauna found there, to shoot our very first video in 4K.

Hi, lovely vlog. The Sennheiser Memory mic sounds good, unless it was promotional. However, you can also try the Rode Wireless Go, which is meant for smartphones as well as DSLRs with similar technology (it has separate units for transmitter and receiver). It does not require an app, does not give any connectivity anxiety, and the quality is as good, if not better. You can also control gain which, I suppose, Sennheiser smartly calls the 'sensitivity' control.

Great to see a hoopoe near the start of video, i saw one in our garden in the exceptionally hot summer of 1976 in the north east of uk, very rare visitor here.Always remind me of india when i see them as i saw lots there too years later. The wole of the kulu valley is pychedelic to me, for the first 2 weeks i was there i was wandering around just speechless at the incredible scenery !

I was expecting to see more birds in a bird sanctuary. Got to saw only Hoopoe! But yeah yeah I know birds can be difficult to shoot. But still wanted to see more of them. Plz include them in your other vlogs as well whenever you see one. It will be lovely to see some birds in Himalayas.
