In the final leg of our journey, we head into Banjar Valley. We drive up to Chehni Kothi - the highest tower fortress in Himachal, this structure leaves you gobsmacked! Really wanted to get a peep inside, but sadly that's a no-no.
No trip to Banjar is complete without heading up to Shoja and Jalori Pass. We hike up to the beautiful Serolsar Lake, witness one of the most spectacular sunsets in the mountains and even woke up the season's first snowfall! ❄️

I just cant imagine the effort and patience required for filming the hiking shots wherein you must have had to place the camera for the specific frame and then have to walk by and then again come back to pick the camera up. Hey hi, Ronnie and Barty, I am an architect and studied in academy of architecture college in Prabhadevi, Mumbai.
Back in 2001 we almost 40 odd students visited the place and stayed there for a month and documented entire village and all the structures, we made all the architectural drawings and submitted as documentation entry for Louis Kahn trophy in NASA ( it’s National association of students of architecture, an architectural compilation and not one in USA)
And it got first prize in national competition.
Video got back all nostalgia and memories.

Since the very first video you have established the spirit of adventure as well as a fulfilling life through the music and the cinematography. I have found your album “Chapter One” in Apple Music - Just going, Zoned out and Soul Disco are absolute favourites when it comes to relaxing myself having something playing in the background.
I wanted to type this for two reasons - one, I liked the fact that you showed Barty’s annoyance seeing littered plastic on these beautiful trails. I share the same frustration and it’s Indian tourists who do it the most.
And two - Being an absolute mountain lover I keep going to the mountains at every given opportunity. I did Everest Base camp in 2018 and it literally changed my life and perspective.
I love how you do these trips in and around Manali but I strongly feel that Everest Base Camp trek is something that deserves to be showcased through your lens. It will catapult your channel to millions worldwide.
Manali holds a special place in my heart and I don’t know the number of times I visited the place but I hope some day I get to enjoy a cup of Sleepy Owl with you both.

Extremely aesthetic.....I stepped into the lake and it was too cold....Just 5kms hike to the lake from the main road.....Now after seeing your blog I think it's more beautiful only because the way you have shown....Love u guys...Love from Rampur Bushahr...

This was beyond gorgeous. What a film. And yes when Barty talks about rubbish in beautiful places, I feel you, we feel you. It is heartbreaking. Recently I was in westernghats, like two days before and visited places as beautiful as lake district but then I saw a truck driver doing puja of his truck before commencing the journey, he loaded his truck with ooty carrots, it was a beautiful sight till then and then he thrown away all puja material and the plastic cover in which it came then and there. And such were many sights and incidences. My heart literally sinks in such moments, times or like rightnow, thinking our whole country is a dustbin. Who likes the dustbin? When will we change? Will we ever ?

I made it my duty from my very first trip to India to collect any rubbish scattered in nature....I and my boyfriend ended up in the newspaper because of this and I continued doing it in all places I stayed (India Nepal Thailand Cambodia and Sri Lanka) .....I encourage all travellers to give a little time to help with local clean-ups if there are any or start one youself....you'll be surprised at how many volonteers you get to help you and how many friends you can make in the process plus knowing you can make a difference you have more respect for yourself 😊

And water of serolsar lake is clear, bcz there are particular type of bird 🐦 who took every fallen leaf from lake to outside of water.

I picked it up and took it back to my lodge. It would had been lying there for don't know how many more years if I did not do it.
