Love your videos, As a designer myself I love to sew in “fishtail” petticoats on this shape gown. It resembles the shape of the bottom more than a regular petticoat so it’s a lot less hassle. Hope it works for you if you give it a try 💜 keep up the awesome work

hi when i place my feathers down they are just straight, how can i stop that? i would like them to flare up
What kind of feathers do you have? They should curve out in one direction so it’s a matter of gluing the right side down

Do they curve? If they’re completly flat you may have the wrong kind

It’s amazing how everyone thinks they can make dresses those days! It’s more of a DIY project , ha-ha. Seating on the customer dress, gluing the feathers , cutting on the floor, one layer tule, the way cups are made…..Oh my, Oh my!!! People , please go to school to learn proper techniques! This is not how a real dress is made .
To each his own! I pride myself on being self taught and my client was extremely happy with her dress. Happy Thanksgiving!
