Do you think Xbox is teasing Fable for the Showcase? And will we see any new games from Bethesda?
It's either a shitty fable or fallout collection. All I want is a Gears Of War collection.
That was no ordinary glitter trail, it was left by Tinkerbell and is obviously a tease for the new Peter Pan game that fans have been asking for...Ha!
I think 100% we’re going to see a playable portion of Fable. I would think it’s probably coming out 2024 towards the end.

Absolutely I think we will see Fable, Avowed, Forza, Gears of War, Hell Blade 2. Maybe more on Contraband, Everwild and State of Decay 3. But I’m hoping they will have another shadow drop for GamePass.

Fable 2 is fantastic. One of my favorite games from the 360 era. Would love to see the series come back in a big way.
Frankly, Starfield, Forza, Hellblade 2, Avowed, and Fable alone is already much better than the PlayStation showcase.

@@Shunyaisbae Yeah, that's what I expect. I don't think we're gonna see many CGI trailers, except for new game reveals like Compulsion's next game or inExile's next game. Starfield, Forza, and Hellblade 2 are pretty much guaranteed to have gameplay given that they have shown off gameplay of those titles before, and I personally have confidence that the next time they show Avowed and Fable off, they won't just be CGI trailers. That being said, do I expect 10-15 minutes of unedited gameplay for Fable and Avowed? No, I'd expect the trailers to have a combination of in-game cinematics and gameplay snippets.
You didn’t need to list 5. Starfield alone is better than the Spiderman sequel showcase. Starfield + Avowed + Fable would be the best RPG showcase of all time!

They're definitely teasing Fable with the glitter and music. The music is nearly spot on and could be the exact melody used in the reboot.
My expectations will be firmly in check. Until we see exciting gameplay with actual release dates on these games, I will remain skeptical. They have a lot to prove. Hope they can pull it off.

Some of YALL setting yall selves up for disappointment thinking that "teaser" is Fable. As Xbox fans we should be smarter and temper our expectations and NOT end of like PS fans. The safe bets are Avowed and Hellblade 2. There is no proof or even rumors/leaks that Fable will be there.
In my opinion Xbox needs to do 5 things to change the narrative about them
1. Show Fable. And I mean show it. Gameplay. From xbox not pc. And no cgi. With release date early/mid 2024
2. Fade out. Show the phrase "until then". And show Fable trilogy remake. Not remaster. Remake. Release dates July, August, October.
3. Show Forza. Release it November.
4. Show Hellblade. Release December.
5. Show 3rd parties on gamepass and 1st parties for 2024.
What we have then? A major 1st party gamepass release EVERY MONTH for the remaining of the year while PS5 has Spiderman which let's face it, I LOVED the first one but the second looks more like an expansion than a full game.
In my opinion Xbox will change the no games narrative like that. They need to go all out
You are NOT going to get all 3 Fable games remade. That is just unrealistic. Remasters are the most you are going to get. Also fable has a small chance releasing mid 2024. It is much more likely to release late 2024 or early 2025
Honestly lots of Sony Ponies were somehow thinking that Spiderman was going to bury Starfield. I think they forgot both are exclusive.
Plus Starfield is on GamePass.
I would think if it’s NOT Fable they better get out front and say so or else people will be pissed.

Im really anxious to play State of Decay 3. The 2nd game imo is one of the most underappreciated games of all time.
My predictions are; Forza Motorsport, StarField, Fable, Avowed, Hellblade II, Compulsion Game, Zenimax Online Game 💚🔥 Hopefully we see Indiana Jones or the rumored Mandalorian Game, although some people are now saying it’s a Lord Of The Rings Game. No matter what it is, I can’t wait for this showcase 💚🔥

@@jacksonjacob7791 As much as I would love to see State Of Decay 3 at the showcase, I don’t think it will be there. I think it still needs a couple more years, I thought I heard it had some development issues. I wouldn’t expect Perfect Dark or Everwild as well since both of those games have had serious development issues.

@@GFettJakeyou heard right. Some devs said that they are still in the very beggining phase of state of decay 3 development. I heard even the trailer we saw was ordered by the company owner just to show something from them as well. That may be a rumor but considering what i heard about the game's development this may be true actually.
My only expectation is to see Starfield and Forza Motorsport. Anything extra will be a bonus.
A lot of people are going to go into this expecting the world, but Xbox has a bad habit of over hyping their showcases. If they have a great showcase I'll be happy.
I am cautiously optimistic about Starfield. Redfall closed the showcase in 2021, opened the showcase in 2022, then arrived in a sorry state in 2023. Then the official response was that they thought the game was going to do great. They also thought it was a great idea to showcase Halo Infinite in a sorry state. If not for the feedback from gamers, its like they didn't actually notice that there was a big problem. So yeah, cautiously optimistic.

I am going in with the same mindset. No point in getting excited too much because it is likely they could deliver a mediocre showcase. Starfield is the main thing i am tuning in for and other things will just be a bonus, all we can do is hope for a good show
I mean, frankly, Xbox didn't overhype their last showcase, the Xbox Dev Direct. They told people the four games that would be there and then overdelivered by surprise-announcing and revealing Hi Fi Rush.
I don't know you, but I really hope that the other games aren't anything close to red fall. I tried it thx to gamepass but it's unplayable 😅 30fps in a FPS game is a big let down, since even the graphics kinda sucks so I really don't know how they managed to make a game so bad

It could be Fable Collection, I remember a couple of years ago, the Xbox GS account teased some Fable related being revealed the next day, then deleting the tweet, and never got anything exciting being revealed. At the time man thought it was a tease for a Fable remaster or remake but nothing happened, so maybe it's that.
Phil spencer did say in a podcast he got some surprises and new games to show, u never know😮
I believe he said first party announcementS meaning plural which means we will likely see compulsions game and inxiles game and MAYBE gears 6 if we are lucky. He also said third party announcements but that is a lot harder to guess. Maybe project dragon or contraband will be shown

It would be nice to see Fable reboot. As for the remastered collection people are talking about, I think that would only be worth doing if it was a complete graphics overhaul, and they already did that once for the first game. After all, these games are enhanced already. I would be pleasantly surprised if they redid the graphics on all of them.

The best thing for them to do is, IMO, open the show with Avowed, hit them with Hellblade 2 in the middle and then end it with Fable. Drop the mic and walk off.

I would love a Fable collection. Fable isn't on PC Game Pass as of right now. It would be a huge downfall if these games weren't re-released for console and onto PC for Game Pass to help hype up the next Fable game.

Been saying the same about a Gears Collection. Fable Anniversary is on PC, but Fable II was never released on PC, and Fable III was released as a physical only Games for Windows Live title. At the very least the latter two need to be brought over. In the case of Gears, Sure we have Ultimate Edition on PC, which is great, but Gears 2, Gears 3, and Judgment have never been on PC so there's a major gap in the series on PC.

I'd absolutely play a Fable remastered collection. I don't think the teaser has anything to do with the new Fable. Happy to be wrong. The only game I absolutely need to be there is Hellblade 2, everything else will be a bonus.
