- End of the season, late September, small chop/light breeze, air temp in the mid-high 60's, Garmin said the water temp was 64.93˚f. Finally got the nerve to slam that 8.2L Mercruiser all the way home to see what she could make that Fountain fiberglass do. The Fountain is from 1991, the Mercruiser is from 1996 (I'm hopelessly in love with both & don't want to break anything).
