- Love Is Blind’ Season 3 contestant Nancy Rodriguez is spilling all about her wedding to and split from Bartise Bowden. The reality star reveals to ‘Extra’s’ Katie Krause how she felt about the comments Bartise made throughout the season regarding her looks and their physical attraction, and shares where she and her ex stand now.
What was surprising was how Raven conducted herself with Bart. She seemed a bit superficial at first but it turns out she read him from the start and refused to connect to his faked efforts to elicit an emotional response from her. She is a lot more centered in who she is and what she wants. I hope Nancy finds herself and her person.

They are only doing interviews because of their contract, for promoting the show. They aren’t volunteering to come out a year later. They just agreed to the terms and signed. Andrew didn’t need to do anything further, because he didn’t finish the “process”. So he isn’t required to do any promotions. His eye drop skit was plenty for them. 😅

I completely agree! But I cannot just dismiss her side. All the red flags were there, he was very obvious and said to her face over and over and she just accept it and never stood her ground! She is accountable for her part in it.
@@shanchris84 I agree with you. That broke my heart when she said that. I worked in that field some years ago, very precious children. Yes, it can get hard but they deserve so much love and their birth is absolutely not a mistake so to be teaching these kids and having those thoughts is bothersome. I wouldn't want her to be my kids' or students' SLP. But not too many think it's a big deal I guess. I don't find her to be the sweet innocent lady everyone thinks she is.

Bartise is a manipulator which is a strong sign of a true narcissist! I felt bad watching this for Nancy because she ignored all the red flags! One of the biggest things that is important for us women to pay attention to is when you meet "a guy pretending to be a man speaks in future tense and their actions do not show it"! The strongest thing women can do to protect from narcissist is to have high standards, firm boundaries, and know your worth. She should have been disgusted by his overt obvious behavior from the start and been turned off the moment he went on and on about Raven. Malignant narcissist would have hid that behavior he didn’t and she still wanted him.

He didn’t dodge that question. He answered but without a direct yes or no. The question was if she gained 400 pounds. No one should stay with a person that self loathing, anyways. When I was 29, I made the mistake of dating a 24yr old. His family loved me more than him. They wanted us to marry so did I. It just wasn't the right person for me. He lacked maturity. He was not financially settled, didn't have a career set in mind. When a man isn't financially ready, he will never get married. I'm now 54, married for 21 years and have a child.
