“I’m glad you said it’s in our genes to grow long hair!!! 💪🏾 and if not we’re doing something wrong” (that part) I will add black soap to my wash routine and expose my hair to sun and cold less. Also a healthy diet of adding lots fruits and vegetables and staying hydrated along with daily scalp massages helps as well! Thanks so much for sharing this video 😊

When I use shea butter on my hair and skin I always notice a huge difference in the softness of both! I like to mix shea butter with coconut oil (coconut oil works very well on my hair personally), gives my skin and hair a softness and moisture I never knew it could have!

I went natural after being relaxed for soo long , but my hair in it’s natural state was really time consuming and frustrating, so I went back to relaxers , I’ve learnt a lot over the years and I probably relax my hair twice for the most a year, as soon as I have a lot of growth I braid my hair and keep it in for a while , my hair has gotten soo much thicker and longer and I love it .

I am on my natural hair journey for the first time in my life for the last 13 months and my hair was feeling like straw coming off of a lifetime of using relaxers until I started using these products and now my hair feels so healthy, smooth wonderful to the touch. Thank you for the secrets and helpful tips. Most Everyone's hair, regardless of race, pretty much grows at the same rate each day and month. Given each individual's standard of health, choices of products used in the hair, and environmental conditions, the quality of each person's hair may differ. Certain conditions, of course, may lead to weak, dry, and brittle hair that gives the illusion the hair is not growing when in fact it is. Hair is dead. The body is alive. Strong and healthy hair starts from within. Keeping the body hydrated, eating plenty of good nutrients through fruits and vegetables, extra moisturizing, low manipulation, and gentle protective styling allow dryer and brittle hair to maintain a lot of length. Be extra gentle with the ends. They need the most protection.

That’s a lie! I know a crack head white girl that eat no vegetables and no fruit and only drink liquor and soda pop and her hair is to the middle of her back so I don’t want to hear that mess!! I eat vegetables, fruits and drink water try to follow all steps and my hair is under arm length and hasn’t grown pass my under arm and I’ve been trying since 2013 as a natural!! I have research this and our hair grows the slowest has something to do with the shape oval in our scalp but you can research it yourself! Asians has the fastest growing hair!, I’m not saying our hair don’t grow but don’t say it’s what you eat although what you eat does help but other races don’t have to have an oily head or eat perfect or massage head and so on and so fourth those are just facts!!!

I’m thankful for your information and tips for our natural hair growth. I was not able to understand clearly what the three methods of hair protection you recommended. I got braids, weave, but what was the third recommendation please and thank you. 🙏🏽

I am applying moringa, hibiscus power and Shea butter all mixed together and I see growth.
I wash my hair frequently and braid it as well.

I use castor oil in my DIY black soap for hair body and face.
I infuse castor oil in my hair care regiment including in my leave in conditioner by Shea Moisture company.

This is my first comment on your channel.
My hair is natural i normally use aloe vera every Saturdays when I was in Abuja and my hair was very long dark and soft but since I came to Lagos aloe vera is hard to get and any hair cream i used my hair keep cutting every day. I don't know why please 🙏
