- Dubai has this reputation for borderline ridiculous levels of luxury--lambos on every street corner, gold rings the size of bath tubs, a $200,000 pizza, it’s even been crowned the “global superyacht capital.” So we came here expecting this to be our biggest budget challenge ever...you know we had to try anyway.

Oh! My! Gosh! I've been following y'all for so long and you are JUST about to hit 100k! So excited for you...I knew it would be here sooner rather than later because you two ROCK!! Another great vid! Thx! 🙂
honestly i love the videos for the minimum budget and maxmimum fun you guys have
We love the channel because you are both just so honest and relatable in how you approach things. You are also incredibly thorough.
I was so scared to go to Dubai because of the prices but after looking at this video I feel comfortable to book for me and my husband thank you 💖
I live in Dubai and can confirm that it's very budget friendly. Remember that the vast majority of people here that keep the city running are not earning fortunes. They need to eat and be entertained too. So there are many wonderful options here to suit all budgets. I hope that you will have a wonderful time in Dubai when you visit.
Beautiful video! I loved watching this video. I was anxiously and patiently waiting for another video to come out so this was perfect! Thanks for taking me on this journey with you! ❤
I kept looking for videos. When I had my surgery in February I watched all your back videos. I missed you guys!
loved it! i went to Dubai tons of times first for vacation and loads for work ... but i have to say seeing through your eyes and your way I am seeing it in a different light .... thanks for the creative way to budget travel in Dubai which is pretty expensive thats why i dont go but also I have sooooo much respect for both of you for fasting when you didnt have to .... your amazing for respectig the culture . i wish lots other people follow in your respectful way of travelling . love you channel devoted fan here from Jeddah , Saudi Arabia .
One of my absolute fave CZcams channels. Loved this one as usual. Thanks guys. 🤩
I had no idea that Dubai could be visited on a budget👍
Superb video what a treat , Thank You Lisa and Josh
Another great video. Thanks a lot for this.
Thank you for showing that it’s feasible to be a tourist in Dubai in budget cause 150$ per person for 3 days it’s impossible out here in the US ! So bravo for making it in Dubai ! I can tell since I lived in Dubai for 2 years . Thanks 🎉
Love your videos. Great editing and storytelling ❤
First video of you guys I watched. Crazy you guys did the fasting! Love the half planned and half just winging it style. Love the bobbing motion graphics. Funny ending!
“Can’t say stuff like that”😂
Another great video! I happened to be in Dubai this year during Ramadan as well! My most memorable eats was a Kunafa at a shop in Deira.
Great video! love and appreciate the content.
Great video as ever you 2! x
Honestly you guys rock. Should be so popular!!
Love these budget videos! :)
Another great video! I happened to be in Dubai this year during Ramadan as well! My most memorable eats was a Kunafa at a shop in Deira.
We love the long form documentary style content. Reminds us of the late great Anthony Bourdains mode of storytelling.
Appreciate this so much!
...so big that it's hard? Lol Lisa!!! 🤣 Ooh that kitty looks like a Bengal. That tour to the desert looked amazing, I'd love to try the sandboarding.
Glad, you went on that tour for the last day. During my travels every so often I pay for a tour to meet some new people and get a break from planning.
Nice video! Dubai on a budget is IMPRESSIVE
Wow featuring Dubai❤❤❤
Hey Gosh and Lisa, thanks for the video, I live here for a few years and went to that bakery after the video right away to get the Afghani simsim bread, thanks for sharing.. next time let me know and I'll help you around the city 😜
Enjoyed your video. I've lived here for 9 years and it's been amazing to watch it grow. There are many surprising cheap or free things to do. The malls threw me when i first moved here too, but then i realized it's a desert, and malls are indoor so they do everything here, not just shop: banking, bills, eating, recreation. Ibn Battuta is my favourite, designed based on the famous world traveler's adventures. You don't have to buy, just observe. And getting out of town.... in the last few years, the UAE has invested a lot in natural activities all over that are free or cheap. Restored forts, parks, hiking, beaches, etc. I love living here!
Also, I was thrown that you didn't ride bikes or scooters. So glad you followed the rules, but I have never, ever seen people on those wear either helmets or vests. I have my own bike that I ride (nice tracks by the way) so I see them everywhere. Never seen people do that so I was shocked to hear that was a rule.
And yes, I am sad about the grand mosque in Abu Dhabi with the mall. You used to be able to drive right up to it and go anytime. But too many people now. A good alternative is the Grand Mosque in Fujairah. Second largest by worshipers in UAE. And no one there!
Dubai - one of the greatest if not the greatest city in the world. Safe, attractive, something for EVERY budget. I can't recommend it enough.
And to make your visit even better fly in on Emirates Airlines. You'll not be disappointed . !!!
Thanks Lisa.🤗 I like the way you appreciate people, things, places around. I hope Josh learn to do the same. instead of giving anNoying remarks!
I really do love this channel
🎉congrats on hitting 100K!!
Super LIKE YOU GUYS!!! Follower from Sydney!
Yay! A new Lisa & Josh video! I was looking forward to a new video 😊 I gotta know, is India on your list ?
what a genuine video of dubai
You guys are awesome and so funny.
This time it was definitely not about the budget.
The feasting/ fasting made ot all! 😂 😉
Lisa and Josh! The secret millionaires! Thank you very much! Your videos are the Best! Spend that Money!
This video makes me miss Dubai more. I lived there for 4 years, and those were the best days of my life...
You're very welcome I'm glad you enjoyed it
Dubai is amazing, i was there last year for a week and will be planning on going again this year 👌
CONGRATULATIONS ON HITTING 100K!!!
You did the fast? 👏👏 Applause for respecting the local culture! Living as the natives do, following their cultural norms, isn't always easy.
Always love how ya'll do voice overs. Really impressed how far ya'll stretched budget in Dubai, even if you did feel like it was mostly looking around and it lacked a little bit of that experience of a place. Oh, and congrats early on 100k 🥳
thank you thank you!! :)
Thanks you guys so much for your amazing video from Dubai city, UAE to shows these amazing places & Landmarks in June of 2024❤❤❤
Welcome to Dubai, tourists! 🌟 We are always ready to greet you with exceptional experiences and unforgettable memories. Welcome to the city of magic and innovation! ✨
Hi Josh & Lisa! We didnt’ know you were gonna be visiting Abu dhabi, we could have given you a tour😂. Abu dhabi is more laid back and less metropolitan than Dubai, here you can just go the beach in the Corniche area and chilled for free or roamed around the parks, or visited zoos. And there are tons of cafeterias and Baqala (read as bakala) / store for cheap food and most of the malls are near each other. Thank you for your effort to immerse yourself in the spirit of Ramadan and for noticing minute details of the life here in the UAE and the workers who are the lifeblood of this country.
nice I just wish you added some more airport footage I love those
lol I thought you were Brian Kelly (The point guy). Good video!
I am sure I will do Dubai at least once as a stopover. There's only so many shopping centres a man can handle but a few days as a layover between Europe and Asia is about all I could handle.
Hey Josh and Lisa -I admit I’m not watching you two in awhile. Read your great newsletter-informative for sure. BTW had you watched Brian and Carrie who do budget traveling too. Mostly they document? How to travel (slow travelings the term). Anyway I’ll continue your video here-Happy Traveling…👋👋
OMG-fantastic video. Thank you!!
i love you guys so!!!!!!!much
Haven’t been to channel in a while. Josh… looking super super cute!!!!!
Need more dat.
دبي 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸حلووو دبي 🎉🎉
Great looking place that's shaping up there.
What time does it get dsrk there?
Josh, you didnt find the parallels to singapore? Dubai took a lot of inspiration from Singapore and seeing how Singapore is one of your favourite places i was hoping for more comparisons between the two
اجميل مكان في عالم امارت 🌸😍
You should explain why they fast, its to train your mental toughs, its cleans your body, it makes you thankfull for what you already have. Etcetc
I totally forgot that the fast included water That sounds so hard in the desert
I hope you enjoyed UAE
Been waiting to see where your next adventure is. But sad that you are in Dubai , where i live and breathe for many years and im not there right now. 😢
india , the unkown adventure .
the beauty of east india , sikkam , assam , nagaland ,

You guys rock! Lisa do the dance!! #fanboy
🙋🏼♂️🙋🏻♀️ 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻
I’m moving to Dubai in 2 months and I love your videos! You uploaded at the perfect time 😍😍
i need moreeeee! lol new video please 🤣
I heard world's largest gold ring but i was NOT expecting that hahaha is it even a ring at that point?
How did you get a drone permit for Dubai? I see they've banned noncommercial drone flights.
I'm also stubborn about Japanese TV. I'm not interested in movies, comedians, or CZcamsrs, I'm just a CZcamsr who just buys a bimall iPhone and streams it. My image is being tarnished by the people around me, so this is where it comes from. I want my family's life to be better too. If I had one thing, I wouldn't be able to do it.I did a lot of things and got a lot of hate for being greedy, but I hope it's a good thing.
Bro its easy go to deira best food for low prices
Come visit India 🇮🇳 ♥️
Great to visit somewhere I've never been and never wanted to go, still don't but thanks xx
You don't have money to visit dubai brokie
Should of goit F13 bus to Burj Khalifa, would included in your Nol journey
Nature's Spring water bottle - you came from Philippines before Dubai? 😅 BTW I 'm a Filipina living in Dubai👋🏻 Ahlan welcome!
Beach are usually empty during Ramadan and 6 hrs work.
I leve in UAE 🇦🇪 dubai
you didnt go inside dubai mall
very nice great to know hotels are CHEEEEP ! ! ! ! !!
This showed all the reasons I don't want to visit Dubai, in a respectful and fun way. I like your other videos but I'm finally subscribing because of the honesty!
We fast Ramadan to practice discipline. Fasting from food and water are the minimum. It gives you an appreciation for everything you’re blessed with and empathy with those who do not have.
What about those people who are working outdoors under the blazing sun and high temperatures?
@@iu2they don’t work during the afternoon
@@hayaabdulla6236 Thank you for letting me know!
if you go india - trying to spend $100 in a day , so cheap
They rushed the Burj Khalifa so much that there is no proper piping for toilets. As a result each day there is a long line of trucks that has to drive that wastewater away.
So what. People still visit bhurj Khalifa so it's win for dubai
Negative people always see negative things, it's a fact of life, not sure how you cope with yourself 😂
That’s Dubai in a nutshell. It’s a metaphor for the place. Look closely beneath the gleam and it’s not that well done and it’s poor for normal people living there. It’s still a fascinating place to visit but when the oil starts to run low the whole place will transform, prices, infrastructure, and intent. At the moment it’s like a giant dolls house for the wealthy sheikhs with about as much quality plumbing and electrics.
It’s still stunning to witness, and inspiringly aspirational but as WalkwithmeTim found recently at the hotels and on the QE2 the reality is mixed.
Loving this video. Real travel with genuineness.
@harunabhna6028 The world's tallest building was built in the 21st century without a working sewage system. 😂😂😂
@@iu2 so what actually it's good thing the don't want filth ( like you ) under the buliding
Weird opinion, what do you expect when visting the most Expensive malls in the world..
dubai should be renamed "douche-bai" for all that ostentation.
I have news for you, Dubai "may" be kinda safe for you Christians!
and full of human rights violations
Get lost you and your human rights even do you know what mean human rights
In your defense, I haven't watched the video yet. But my initial reaction is "leave Dubai to the Lost Leblanc's of CZcams". Although, I'm sure you were just on a layover to some much less douchebaggy location. So hey, might as well take advantage of the opportunity to make some content!
That last place you went to is a Palestinian bakery. Please pray for Palestine ❤🇵🇸
The issue with Dubai is that everything looks fake and not traditional from the region.. but they are trying to attract foreigners, so..
What are your guys thoughts on the LGBTQ community? Do you support them? Happy Pride month 🏳️🌈♥️
If you’re doing Dubai on a budget, you’re doing it wrong and it will be very difficult to enjoy your visit and to appreciate the place
No one has mentioned Josh's T-shirt with the sandwich on the front...during a fast.
The Mediterranean sour yoghurt on rice is tasty and filling.
