3:42 you can use toothpaste for scratches but you have to rub it with a clothe super hard and for super long. It will eventually buff out the scratches if the scratches are light enough

@@bradyblue5269 it's pretty simple really, your removing the material that was scratched. Scratches don't really damage the data on the disc, they just make it unreadable by the laser. Toothpaste is good for it because it's abrasive but soft so it won't cause more scracthes. Technically any polishing material would work, aslong as u don't damage the inside ring and give it a mirror finish

The tooth paste thing is pretty close to something that worked for me once. I used peanut butter on the disc, I wiped it off with rubbing alcohol and a washcloth. It worked
the toothpaste method does work, but peanut butter is 10x better, ive done both, and if you arent mentally challenged and dont forget to wipe the disc clean before you put it in the xbox, playstation, etc. you wouldnt have an issue
It's hit or miss. If the game isn't even booting some of the time, chances are toothpaste (and etc.) won't do squat. It won't do a thing for deep scratches.
