I don't even know how to categorize wilco. Alt rock? Alt country? Folk rock? Indie rock? Art rock? Power pop? Pop rock? They are all of these things. All of these others artists are focused upon one or two genres. Wilco has it all. The country lover likes wilco, the rock lover likes wilco, the metal lover likes wilco, the folk lover likes wilco. Heck, even the rap lover loves wilco, I know that because my brother likes rap, and he likes wilco too. Wilco is such a good band. God bless, and continue in your musical efforts,
