3:50 that soundtrack is so epic. OG MW2 had such a memorable soundtrack.
I like that there are still people like you who appreciate this trilogy of COD
Remastered make Roach's fall more realistic and reasonable
Fun fact: In the MW2 OG, when Roach fell from the rooftop after making a jump, then he woke up seeing dozens of millitia comin' toward him, before you run, move your body a little bit while continuously press F, at 3:06 Roach will grab a nowhere M4 w/ ACOG and underbarrel grenade launcher. Then you can unleash some bullets to the millita before escape though 😅
You can see it when you look down in the og and you will have it
and im giving u a fact, that the m4a1 is soap's
i just found it yesterday that if u reach the roof earlier than soep does, the m4a1 would not be there
however, if soap reach the roof first and then u jump onto it and triggers the animation of hin tries to reach ur hand, then the m4 would be there.
My main problem with MW2R is the fact there isn’t any multiplayer or spec ops remastered too
The spec ops its what hurt me.
Is it because it's made from AW engine?
Hopefully one day
Yeah I was so eager to play MW2R but it had no spec ops....
Simple reason why they didn't include mp is the lesson learnt from the mw1 remaster
If they would release mw2 mp remaster, for a few years they would not be able to sell anything, the absurd quality of mw2 mp is far ahead of any new titles they released last 6 years. It has the perfect mix of fun&simple and doesn't need anything new to add to it.
There is a reason why everything has changed for call of duty franchise after mw2
The reason why there are no multiplayer and Spec Ops in MW2R is because this remaster released after MW19 released and they don't want MW19 popularity rating dropped all of a sudden.
You can also do a rock-paper-scissors in that same rush scene in remastered by using inspect (down d-pad) btw

Just those little changes make the game so much more immersive.
When i was younger i remember i always used the G18 in the rooftop run towards Nikolai's helicopter, maybe i was young but somehow i found logical that if i used the G18 in that part i could make the jump

i really loce how much aot n love ravensoft has done to the campaign (if not for activision almost ruining the entire remaster of the game)
if the devs just added in remastered mp and spec ops it would've smoked the recent cod at the time it released to bad they only remastered campaign

interrupt, but Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered, Let me explain it in a simpler way without comparing with other games
Just look at the very last frame and look at the differences from the windows. In this particular scene they added a whole tree and the exterior lightning from outside and changed Henry's clothes to be more realistic, added blood more facial animation and probably even more.
Think of it like this: You buy an house that you like but it is a little old and is in need of some repair and/or renovation, or maybe it isnt in your style, or you want to add something to it like an extension.
You can choose to paint over some walls if they are faded and be done with it. ( like a remake ) Or take some walls down and rebuild it to your liking with an extension or a new kitchen if you want. ( like a remastered ), BUT the foundation and most of the construction of the original house ( mo-cap ) has to stay intact, or the house will collapse.
Thats what they did here. They kept the motion capture acting, but changed and improved the set and characters with newer, up to date graphics and lightning
They will without to do that with a remake. That was only re-painting the walls with the same color. Now they renovated the whole building
They rebuilt the games on a whole engine change or new engine which makes
they chose to re-build most of the game in this way cuz of the new capabilities from the NEW ENGINE
A remake would be rebuilding everything from the ground up
