- Today we will be diving in on the best way to solo the exotic mission "Zero Hour" in Destiny 2 on Legend difficulty. Yes, this is a very difficult PvE activity for Destiny. So much in fact that many people have sought to get it nerfed and easier to complete. It is expected to have 3 people but what if I told you it is achievable to solo this mission. Here is the best way to solo Legend difficulty "Zero Hour" as a warlock.

Dude! Adding that mini map during the Trevor section has to be one of the greatest additions for a how 2 video I've ever seen! Usually this part just fries my brain where I'm supposed to go, that mini map makes it completely understandable! Nice one 😁
Yeah! When I was learning the path for myself I swear that area was a labyrinth but as soon as I mapped it out it made it so much easier to understand!
@@Ujurak I've got to get there yet, I swear everytime I kill the room of adds with the walker, loads respawn, then I get to the wall jumping part and it ruins me 🤣
@@Thatannoyingvoicetoldyoutodoit I'd say for the wall section it sounds stupid but the worst thing is to die. If you need to stop and compose yourself during the sections it is okay. Just don't stop for the sections that require momentum haha. But realistically you only need to get to the boss with around 6- 6:30 minutes left. Getting there any earlier really only assures that if something catastrophic happens like missing a super or the spider tanks surviving for too long, it won't kill the run. So if there's anywhere to relax and take your time, it's on that wall part.
@@Ujurak I used my heat rises there upon trying again, sailed right passed for the most part. Yeah it's definitely tough trying to solo it. I like the challenge though, as frustrating as it might be.

That first cubby in the boss room completely changes the pace of the fight and moving back to the back of the room. You made this look easy.

There is an even easier way to do the silo room. Go the normal route, towards the Captains, but go right once you enter the vent. It’ll drop you at 1 Silo, jump across to 3 and use MOUNTAINTOP jump. This will launch you to the opening. No need for switches or railing jumps
This is what I do too, also I switch to strand grapple sword after the first spider tank to help with the jumping parts. 👌
Great video, well done. Regarding the first tank room “platform” ads you spoke about… they sometimes shuffle platforms. You’re not seeing ads you already killed. They’re ads being pulled from other platforms that haven’t been killed yet.
Ohhh okay. This makes more sense lmao I was getting so tilted cause sometimes I would die from a platform I know I killed but this makes me feel better😂
The rail skip in the silo room is CRAZY! I didn’t even know that hidden path was there lol

The reason the walker didn’t die is because you didn’t have composite propellant x5… if you let that fill back up they will die every time

As a warlock main and very basic skill set this by far is the best guide ive seen. I think my main issue is over thinking and not trusting myself but this does help my confidence a bit. I just keep think about that timer and doing it over and over again. Definitely subbed now.

You should cut the trevor section into a smaller clip and upload too. Not sure but I think that would be helpful and yours is the only one Ive seen like that.

One quick thing , you don't need to activate heat rises when you pop your super , you instantly have it . Great video allot of great points , to solo something you need to know the encounter fairly well , that's it .
great run dude, makes me wanna get back on my warlock! Also, if you didn't know on the elevator part you can actually jump up the metal beams on the walls to get up there much much faster on that part. getting there at 8 mins with switching and all is awesome great work.
you earned my like and sub with this one sir. my buddy and I have been struggling to get our LEGEND clear and I used this vid as a guide to maximize my contribution to our runs. We were able to get our clear with a full 30 seconds to spare thanks to the tips and tricks you showed.

running this with some friends and things get so out of control so quickly. my gear is not the best and I am slowly working my way through the first 3 encounters. this video showed me exactly what im doing wrong. I'm rushing lol. I gotta take my time and use the appropriate guns when am able. the encounters can take so little time overall when done with ease and not fast kills, kills, kills. definitely going to try this again.

One better tip for final add clear, pop the shanks on main platform with Polaris first, (most of them are fire shield) then switch to RR to finish up.
Jump shooting everything in boss room when you have heat rises available hurt my soul 😂.. good video 👍🏻

Also, switch your chest armor to have on solar reserve mods while flying in, then to your normal armor after landing. Works on a lot of missions.

Nicely done! But honestly... A vast majority will not be able to do this. 6 seconds left after flawless jumping puzzles and zero deaths till boss room... That's far too tight. Should be enough time to do this plus the perks/ship puzzles in one go. I HATE timed missions and that will never change. Focus should be on combat not speed running.
You can also use mountaintop rocket jump to easily make the jump at 10:09 with the lid closed
On that silo jump, you can use mountain top, and make it with it without having to flip the switch

this mission is the most infuriating thing that i ever played on destiny 2, not only there's those strange situations like the one in the room with the tank where the ads you killed at the start just simply respawn out of thin air, but also because i got one run at the boss room where i fell in a place in the back of the arena and got stuck there without even being able to jump and get out. at this point i don't care about getting outbreak anymore, it's gonna cost my ability to enjoy the game and after all I'm not even gonna make good use of it, since the hardest thing that i plan to get into in the future are gm nightfall which I'm sure I'll be fine with a lot of other amazing guns that i have upon my sleeve. the only thing I'm interested about this mission is appreciating the one's that can get it completed...

Sweet run man my problem with dragons breath switches is I've ran this mission a ton and I rarely ever get heavy bricks at any point even running triple heavy finder mods they just don't spawn
Depends on when you us DB. If in boss room have a non special / heavy load out once you burn through all reservers. Like warden/polaris/lmg

This really helped. But I still can't even get close to bearing this fucking mission. This mission is the reason I cancelled my pre order for final shape and will be moving on from destiny. As a solo player, I'm tired of not being able to access content. Dungeons, raids and a lot of insanely hard missions solo.

Warlock is a cheat code if you know how to use heat rises boys..f the other classes you can bypass most of the sections with heat rises,eager.
And tou can also skate some spots to save another 10s or so.
any possible way to replace polaris lance with something else ? i don’t have it :/

Nothing really replaces the free ignitions on Polaris tho.
*it’s so quick to swap guns on pc… takes ages on console. A swipe to the left or right on the touchpad for ps5 would be a great option to change weapons*

They do! Just when the face plate of the boss gets destroyed and the super runs out you want to be able to immediately damage the boss because he starts his Enrage
Make sure you shoot the dragon under the walker. That guarantees the walker dies
What about a build for a Hunter?
At the elevator you can jump wall to wall it’s faster than the elevator
Gun is worth for this much hard mission?
I would say yes. The gun absolutely shreds in pvp and is getting a huge buff in pve in the final shape.

The dam is the only hard part with a fire team, I fucking hate it.

I got carried first time around then we carry some of the guy who carried me clan mates..you can get to boss with 10mins left easily without any major skips..if you use skips you can probably get with 13m left.

Legend actually has a 20:40 time limit! I assume it's to give people that have long load times a 40 second buffer because sometimes the clock starts ticking before you even spawn in!

Yeah I’ve solo flawlessed it but the point I wanted to show people was that you can have a terrible run and still be able to at least solo it as some people struggle with!
