I mean every atheist knows that GOD is who He is. it's in our spirits, just as the guy in the video said. the problem is that sometimes people don't want to let go of sin. just like the guy in the video. we all know that God is who he is. all of our spirits came from GOD. we were created in his image and after his likeness. that's why we know right from wrong.

This Scripture you quote is not a good example, if for no other reason that the publican is comparing himself to the tax collector AND other men. Christ is the standard by which we MUST be compared, and of course, we all will fall short. But what really bothers me about all your comments is that you use the word "practice sin" even with Peter and Paul! They (and TRUE Christians don't "practice lifestyles of sin"! They are sinners who make mistakes because it's our carnal nature. We are not perfect and as long as we're in our corruptible bodies-we will sin, BUT WE DO NOT MAKE A PRACTICE OF IT. Aron Gladden He has enough sense to know he is not living right with God, for whatever reason. MAN CAN LOSE HIS SALVATION. The 'once saved, always saved' doctrine is a serious error. A very serious error. Even the apostle Paul said he could be 'disqualified' (1 Corinthians 9:27). When Jesus spoke to the seven churches (therefore Christians) in Revelation 2 & 3, He pointed out their good works but on some occasions warned them to repent for a given reason. Judas Iscariot himself was a disciple of Jesus but is now referred to as a son of Perdition (Hell) due to his betrayal and fall.

One can discern this truth by the mere fact that 1 Corinthians 12:3 draws the conclusion that only saved people can profess "Jesus is lord and savior"...and this man did declare it in this video at: 2 minutes 8 seconds, and 2 minutes 52 seconds. God uses the weak and the meek to bring down the proud. In this case, Ray Comfort is "the proud", and the man he interviews is "the weak and meek." This man is saved, even if he thinks he isn't. Anyone whom disagrees (and in disagreeing, attempts to cite James 2 or Acts 2:38 or any other verse that talks about repentance or works or good faith) is using scripture to contradict scripture. For Jesus spoke clearly His Doctrines, and He gave Paul those doctrines clearly as well: John 3:18 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Repentance is important. It's like Jesus is offerring to pay for the fine but you are too proud to allow Jesus to pay despite you knowing that His payment is more than enough to let you off the hook. Need I remind you that the Devil knows about God. The Devil knows about Jesus but they are not saved, rather they tremble at the sound of His name.

The Holy Spirit is the breath of God on earth. If God works through mysterious ways, it is also the holy spirit, perhaps he must be saved in 3 or 5 years after the divine plan of God, who knows. My mom grew up with the gospel, but she knew she wasn't saved, and only when she was 28 did she get saved. She knew everything of her sin life was wrong, and she knew she was going to hell, and she prayed, over and over, 'Lord, don't take me before I find you.' And He didn't. But the point of this is that even wanting to be saved, if your heart is hardened to the Lord, won't get you there. So Lord, soften that man's heart, in Jesus INCREDIBLE name!!! Hallelujah! Amen! Two things I respect about this guy, 1) He’s honest 2) He’s not a hypocrite. James 2 is correct when it says faith without works is dead. But we are not saved by our faith, whether it be dead or alive. We are saved by Jesus' faith, not our own, and his was living. Ephesians 2 makes this clear. Repentance is not necessary, as there is no scripture that ever says it is necessary in order to be saved. But there is Romans 11:29, which states that the gifts of God are given without us repenting. Did Paul repent first, and then become saved? Or did he become saved first, and did not repent in order to be saved? It was the latter. Hebrews 10:26-27 says there is no more sacrifice for sins if we continue to sin. This is true. And for those who get their remission of sin through the Old Covenant sacrifices, if they sin after the yearly sacrifice, they will lose their edge for remission of sin, and desire sin all the same as if there was no sacrifice. But for those whose sacrifice is Jesus, there is no more sacrifice for sin, whether they continue in sin or not. For, once Jesus sacrificed, the sacrifice was complete and permanent. So even if a believer does not deliberately sin after receiving the knowledge of truth, that believer still has no more further sacrifice for sin. Perhaps you have not noticed, turtlevillage, that you have not cited a single scripture in all of that....which actually states the position you are trying to take. None of them said what you said. They all said something different. Think about that. Why do you wish to argue that Jesus' grace doesn't go as far as it does? Why do you wish to diminish his glory?

God gives us freedom choice. “God sent his Son into the world. He did not send him to judge the world guilty, but to save the world through him.” John 3:17 We all must face judgement. Repentance and obedience is the only way.

The ONLY difference between this man and an atheist/non-believer in Jesus, is that this man admitted it. They all know it to be true, but they usually argue with you that it's not true because they have fooled themselves and hardened their hearts. They aren't going to stand before God on judgement day and say "but I didn't know! You didn't provide enough evidence that you existed!" People who rejected Jesus here won't have to be dragged away to hell kicking and screaming. They know that they willfully chose it. It's not the will of God that any should perish, but that we all come to repentance to have eternal life with Him.

This guy is honest, he knows the truth, but My guess is he has a pretty easy life. When a person went through difficulties in the life, then you think more about why we are here, why that happened, and of course many are looking for God when life is very tough. And also I think somewhere in his back thoughts he decided that he will repent but later, much later when life seems to be closer to an end. This guy probably don’t understand the danger of dying today or he understands but consciousness playing with God.
He's eating those nuts so fast because he's nervous and convicted. God can reach anyone. My heart was hardened for 38 years, yet here I am today, born again in Jesus Christ. God delivered me completely from 22 years of alcoholism, pornography and homosexuality. God can reach and deliver anyone. The blood of Jesus is mighty to save! All glory to God!
I have felt this way a LOT in my life. But I am trying my hardest to find my self-worth and trust in God that He will forgive me, but sometimes it doesn’t feel like I deserve it for things I have done. But I do trust in Christ most definitely.
@Ryan we dont deserve forgiveness thats why its a free gift to all that avail themselves to Him and believe. His Grace and Mercy we could never deserve but He died because He loves us and gave His life for us so that we may be justified by faith. We are filthy sinners by God rich in mercy gave us the gift of everlasting life to all who believe and put their faith in Him.
I find it interesting that he acknowledges that every knows this intuitively. People know God exists and know His precepts, but confusion and disobedience often overcomes them.
I think this man needs to fully understand just how horrible hell is. I heard the testimony of a man who said he too had a very flippant attitude towards the impending judgement of God, even though he had heard the gospel several times, and had even heard a preacher describe what the bible says about hell. One night he was driving home (drunk) from a bar, and he passed out, ran off the road, and crashed his car into a tree. When he woke up, the car was engulfed in flames, and he was pinned inside, screaming for help. The firemen were already on the scene by this time, and working feverishly to rescue this man. They finally got him out before he was burned too badly, but he said that almost every time he went to sleep after that accident, he would have nightmares about being in the flames of hell, and all he could think about was the scriptures he had heard about hell, and the gospel message that he had been given by those who had witnessed to him. After a couple of weeks of living in fear that he was going to wake up in hell, he couldn't take it anymore, and finally repented and trusted the Lord Jesus as his Savior.
These are the peopleike me when they get saved God uses them dramatically to connect with the people that most Christians dicount...my type of brother...Holy Spirit do your job
Prime candidate for the GLORY OF GOD. All salvation is of the lord. If he is of the elect he will be saved. Living waters, by the grace of God have a great ministry and are a great tool for God's grace to be reintroduced to those whom God will call.

A man who has remained in sin so long that he has just lost any desire to change. This is the danger for people who think that they are going to repent on their death bed. If they have a death bed they may be so damaged by sin that they will have no desire to repent.

Hopefully this man has not fallen that far. I don’t think he has, I believe God will grant him repentance one day

i like that guy hes honest about his sinss... too many justify themselfs as being good.... the church folks or those who were brought up in christian familys.
This is hurt. He knows what he has to do, but notice the "shut down" in his body language as he responds. He's acting out. His body language says, "whatever, I don't care," while at the same time also he begins to eat more as he becomes more convicted, nervous, and stressed. He's mad at God. Possibly abused during his youth. I was angry with God and it turned me to atheism. But the moment I lost everything I cared about, I cried out to Him. He came. But He refused to help until I did one thing: submit. I was so hardened and egotistical that I didn't realize it was my pride that God was resisting. When I bowed the knee and submitted, he set me free and gave me the Holy Spirit, Who testified to the truth of the gospel and gave me a new desire to follow and obey Jesus Christ.
Time no matter what you did no matter how horrific it is you can still do it... we all fall short and you can change. Even if you don't feel like you're worth it

In order to understand God's love, you must understand God's hatred. In order to recieve salvation, you must understand what you're are being saved from. Besides, God's love will be revealed to us upon salvation by the Holy Spirit, so "making" people understand God's love is not something we can do at a sufficient level anyways. We are sinful creatures, all we know in the flesh is sin, so that's what I believe one should share in evangelism because when you explain sin, everybody understands; but when explaining God's love, we ourselves dont even quite understand, how can we explain it to non believers?
Trusting in Christ without works is like drawing nigh unto him with our lips(saying we believe)but our hearts being far from Him. We ALL come short of the Glory of God, because we sin, but a loving Father in Heaven has provided a way, a perfect way through the sacrifice of His perfect Son, and all this because of His love for us His children. The Savior also showed us the way to treat the sinner when the women was brought to be stoned in public, the Savior said he who is without sin let him cast the first stone, then with all of her accusers gone the Savior asked where art thine accusers? Hath no man condemned thee? Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. Ray is making a public spectacle of these people, and I know that's not the way the Savior operates. Ultimately the real message is not that we need to be shamed into living right, but to know we are ALL in need of repentance on a regular basis, because sin makes us unclean in Gods sight,(but not unloved) and it says NO unclean thing shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven. This is why the Savior came to provide a way for us to be clean through His atoning sacrifice and the gift of repentance. Also not everyone that looks at a man or a woman Lusts after them! Lust means that you have a sexual desire for them. I only have that desire for my wife and nobody else. I've been an active member of my faith for 52yrs and am far from perfect, and Know without my Savior Jesus Christ there would be NO hope of salvation for anyone. Your right also about that scripture in the new testament that gives a list of those who won't enter into the kingdom of heaven, but that's exactly why a loving Savior came because he knew we would fall short of the requirements to enter back into Heaven so he provided the gift of repentance and payment for our sin through His atoning sacrifice. Also making a public mock of people, saying they're liars thieves and adulters is Hypocritical if we only show the videos that make yourselves look good. I'm sure there's editing that goes on to make sure in your eyes that your showing your best face. That would be using deception to get more viewers which ultimately means more money for you. Also you pick out people that aren't prepared with reason for their belief. You also ask people to speak loudly so there's public humiliation and also to draw in more viewers which equates to more paying customers.

Believe it or not I can relate to this man 110% but just a few days ago maybe 3 days or 2 days I turned to God to Jesus and I want to get baptized in the HOLY SPIRIT I used to traffic drugs across some borders I was extremely well off but after a suicide attempt twice God had mercy on me and I was an atheist at the same time !!!!! Needs the Holy Spirit.. A hardened heart is an unchanged heart... Only the Holy Spirit can soften a heart.. The Holy Spirit is the connection between us and God.. Otherwise we are just a soul and a body.. We can turn away from sin, make a confession, feel guilty, go through the emotions.. But with out water a seed ploughed even into fertile soil will either continue from fear or die.. The soil will dry out... The Holy Spirit is required that is all... I mean if nature is evidence of a designer.. Then the designer has written very clearly through the example of His creation, the process required for growth or new life .. A seed, fertile soil, sun, time and regular watering with nutrients..

He has enough sense to know he is not living right with God, for whatever reason. MAN CAN LOSE HIS SALVATION. The 'once saved, always saved' doctrine is a serious error. A very serious error. Even the apostle Paul said he could be 'disqualified' (1 Corinthians 9:27). When Jesus spoke to the seven churches (therefore Christians) in Revelation 2 & 3, He pointed out their good works but on some occasions warned them to repent for a given reason. Judas Iscariot himself was a disciple of Jesus but is now referred to as a son of Perdition (Hell) due to his betrayal and fall.

Jesus saved the man in this video. One can discern this truth by the mere fact that 1 Corinthians 12:3 draws the conclusion that only saved people can profess "Jesus is lord and savior"...and this man did declare it in this video at: 2 minutes 8 seconds, and 2 minutes 52 seconds.
God uses the weak and the meek to bring down the proud. In this case, Ray Comfort is "the proud", and the man he interviews is "the weak and meek." This man is saved, even if he thinks he isn't. Anyone whom disagrees (and in disagreeing, attempts to cite James 2 or Acts 2:38 or any other verse that talks about repentance or works or good faith) is using scripture to contradict scripture. For Jesus spoke clearly His Doctrines, and He gave Paul those doctrines clearly as well:

My mom grew up with the gospel, but she knew she wasn't saved, and only when she was 28 did she get saved. She knew everything of her sin life was wrong, and she knew she was going to hell, and she prayed, over and over, 'Lord, don't take me before I find you.' And He didn't. But the point of this is that even wanting to be saved, if your heart is hardened to the Lord, won't get you there. So Lord, soften that man's heart, in Jesus INCREDIBLE name!!! Hallelujah! Amen! James 2 is correct when it says faith without works is dead. But we are not saved by our faith, whether it be dead or alive. We are saved by Jesus' faith, not our own, and his was living. Ephesians 2 makes this clear.
Repentance is not necessary, as there is no scripture that ever says it is necessary in order to be saved. But there is Romans 11:29, which states that the gifts of God are given without us repenting. Did Paul repent first, and then become saved? Or did he become saved first, and did not repent in order to be saved? It was the latter.
Hebrews 10:26-27 says there is no more sacrifice for sins if we continue to sin. This is true. And for those who get their remission of sin through the Old Covenant sacrifices, if they sin after the yearly sacrifice, they will lose their edge for remission of sin, and desire sin all the same as if there was no sacrifice.
But for those whose sacrifice is Jesus, there is no more sacrifice for sin, whether they continue in sin or not. For, once Jesus sacrificed, the sacrifice was complete and permanent. So even if a believer does not deliberately sin after receiving the knowledge of truth, that believer still has no more further sacrifice for sin.
Perhaps you have not noticed, turtlevillage, that you have not cited a single scripture in all of that....which actually states the position you are trying to take.

The ONLY difference between this man and an atheist/non-believer in Jesus, is that this man admitted it. They all know it to be true, but they usually argue with you that it's not true because they have fooled themselves and hardened their hearts. They aren't going to stand before God on judgement day and say "but I didn't know! You didn't provide enough evidence that you existed!" People who rejected Jesus here won't have to be dragged away to hell kicking and screaming. They know that they willfully chose it. This guy is honest, he knows the truth, but My guess is he has a pretty easy life. When a person went through difficulties in the life, then you think more about why we are here, why that happened, and of course many are looking for God when life is very tough.
And also I think somewhere in his back thoughts he decided that he will repent but later, much later when life seems to be closer to an end. This guy probably don’t understand the danger of dying today or he understands but consciousness playing with God.
He's eating those nuts so fast because he's nervous and convicted. God can reach anyone. My heart was hardened for 38 years, yet here I am today, born again in Jesus Christ. God delivered me completely from 22 years of alcoholism, pornography and homosexuality. God can reach and deliver anyone. The blood of Jesus is mighty to save! All glory to God!

His Grace and Mercy we could never deserve but He died because He loves us and gave His life for us so that we may be justified by faith. I find it interesting that he acknowledges that every knows this intuitively. People know God exists and know His precepts, but confusion and disobedience often overcomes them.
I think this man needs to fully understand just how horrible hell is. I heard the testimony of a man who said he too had a very flippant attitude towards the impending judgement of God, even though he had heard the gospel several times, and had even heard a preacher describe what the bible says about hell. One night he was driving home (drunk) from a bar, and he passed out, ran off the road, and crashed his car into a tree. When he woke up, the car was engulfed in flames, and he was pinned inside, screaming for help. The firemen were already on the scene by this time, and working feverishly to rescue this man. They finally got him out before he was burned too badly, but he said that almost every time he went to sleep after that accident, he would have nightmares about being in the flames of hell, and all he could think about was the scriptures he had heard about hell, and the gospel message that he had been given by those who had witnessed to him. After a couple of weeks of living in fear that he was going to wake up in hell, he couldn't take it anymore, and finally repented and trusted the Lord Jesus as his Savior.
These are the peopleike me when they get saved God uses them dramatically to connect with the people that most Christians dicount...my type of brother...Holy Spirit do your job

A man who has remained in sin so long that he has just lost any desire to change. This is the danger for people who think that they are going to repent on their death bed. If they have a death bed they may be so damaged by sin that they will have no desire to repent.
*I don't understand how people can know it, believe it, and understand that they would most likely go to hell when they die and do absolutely nothing about it!* *Then again I don't think they really actually "get it" what hell is really going to be like and that they could actually go there!!! He knows what he has to do, but notice the "shut down" in his body language as he responds. He's acting out. His body language says, "whatever, I don't care," while at the same time also he begins to eat more as he becomes more convicted, nervous, and stressed.

I was angry with God and it turned me to atheism. But the moment I lost everything I cared about, I cried out to Him.
He came. But He refused to help until I did one thing: submit.
I was so hardened and egotistical that I didn't realize it was my pride that God was resisting. When I bowed the knee and submitted, he set me free and gave me the Holy Spirit, Who testified to the truth of the gospel and gave me a new desire to follow and obey Jesus Christ.
Time no matter what you did no matter how horrific it is you can still do it... we all fall short and you can change. Even if you don't feel like you're worth it
I magine that this guy has been betrayed by people who were meant to love him. The Spirit of Cain is his inheritance, as it was once mine. Yeshua Ha Meshiach is the Lord. Only He can save us. Amen

In order to understand God's love, you must understand God's hatred. In order to recieve salvation, you must understand what you're are being saved from. Besides, God's love will be revealed to us upon salvation by the Holy Spirit, so "making" people understand God's love is not something we can do at a sufficient level anyways. We are sinful creatures, all we know in the flesh is sin, so that's what I believe one should share in evangelism because when you explain sin, everybody understands; but when explaining God's love, we ourselves dont even quite understand, how can we explain it to non believers?

Trusting in Christ without works is like drawing nigh unto him with our lips(saying we believe)but our hearts being far from Him. We ALL come short of the Glory of God, because we sin, but a loving Father in Heaven has provided a way, a perfect way through the sacrifice of His perfect Son, and all this because of His love for us His children. The Savior also showed us the way to treat the sinner when the women was brought to be stoned in public, the Savior said he who is without sin let him cast the first stone, then with all of her accusers gone the Savior asked where art thine accusers? Hath no man condemned thee? Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. Ray is making a public spectacle of these people, and I know that's not the way the Savior operates. Ultimately the real message is not that we need to be shamed into living right, but to know we are ALL in need of repentance on a regular basis, because sin makes us unclean in Gods sight,(but not unloved) and it says NO unclean thing shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven. This is why the Savior came to provide a way for us to be clean through His atoning sacrifice and the gift of repentance. Also not everyone that looks at a man or a woman Lusts after them! Lust means that you have a sexual desire for them.
I only have that desire for my wife and nobody else. I've been an active member of my faith for 52yrs and am far from perfect, and Know without my Savior Jesus Christ there would be NO hope of salvation for anyone. Your right also about that scripture in the new testament that gives a list of those who won't enter into the kingdom of heaven, but that's exactly why a loving Savior came because he knew we would fall short of the requirements to enter back into Heaven so he provided the gift of repentance and payment for our sin through His atoning sacrifice.
Also making a public mock of people, saying they're liars thieves and adulters is Hypocritical if we only show the videos that make yourselves look good. I'm sure there's editing that goes on to make sure in your eyes that your showing your best face. That would be using deception to get more viewers which ultimately means more money for you.
Also you pick out people that aren't prepared with reason for their belief. You also ask people to speak loudly so there's public humiliation and also to draw in more viewers which equates to more paying customers.
Heavenly Father, draw Tom to Your Son right now. Reveal Your Truth in full and completely expose the enemy's lies.
Replace his heart of stone with a heart of flesh & put your Holy Spirit inside of him. Thank You Father. We give to You all the praise and the glory forever, in Christ Jesus name. Amen

LORD, open his eyes, and let him see sin through Your eyes. Show him that You sent Your Son to give His life, as Your sacrifice to pay for our sins, when we genuinely repent and turn away from them. Give him understanding that when we practice sin, that that rebellion blocks our prayers from being answered by You and causes separation from You - because You can't dwell with sin. Heavenly Father, we ask that You give him an unsatiable hunger to read/ understand Your Word and to receive direction from Your Holy Spirit as You fellowship with him.
LORD, keep him and protect him. Cover him with the Blood of Jesus Christ and show him his need to fully depend on you.

Believe it or not I can relate to this man 110% but just a few days ago maybe 3 days or 2 days I turned to God to Jesus and I want to get baptized in the HOLY SPIRIT I used to traffic drugs across some borders I was extremely well off but after a suicide attempt twice God had mercy on me and I was an atheist at the same time !!!!! But praise God now I just applied for school legit Job feels weird walking away from all the sinful riches I had but it’s for the best I’ll rather built a kingdom with God thank away from him
The bible says that even demons believe and shudder and also, after knowing the truth, not to make a practice of sinning once you are saved, and lastly it told us about how people will be lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God
He only has what he needs to be saved but doesn't want it and some part of me feels he thinks he may be too far gone but that's a lie (unless he's blasphemed against the holy spirit)

There needs to be more love
Needs the Holy Spirit.. A hardened heart is an unchanged heart... Only the Holy Spirit can soften a heart.. The Holy Spirit is the connection between us and God.. Otherwise we are just a soul and a body.. We can turn away from sin, make a confession, feel guilty, go through the emotions.. But with out water a seed ploughed even into fertile soil will either continue from fear or die.. The soil will dry out... The Holy Spirit is required that is all...
I mean if nature is evidence of a designer.. Then the designer has written very clearly through the example of His creation, the process required for growth or new life .. A seed, fertile soil, sun, time and regular watering with nutrients..
What is sad about this man is that a lot of people are this way because the devil fills this world full of what he knows what would keep people away from our GOD😪
