- The new Mazda CX80 is the second model to be engineered on Mazda’s Large Architecture platform after the CX60. Mazda CX80 is the most spacious car Mazda has on the market in Europe and will become the new flagship for Mazda in the region.
Spacious, comfortable, versatile, and great to drive, the all-new Mazda CX80 combines progressive design anchored in Japanese aesthetics with superior technology and features.
At almost five metres long and with a wheelbase of over three metres, the all-new CX80 is longer, higher, and has a significantly longer wheelbase than the popular CX60. In conjunction with two-fold-flat third row seats, the CX80 will be available with a choice of three second row configurations, including the choice of two separate captain seats combined with a centre console.

Can anyone explain the differences for the cx-90, cx-80 and cx-70? Isn't this just a cx-70?
Totally agree that this should have been the CX-70 in the US…it makes more sense…size wise.
cx 70 and 90 are 10cm longer and cx60 is 20cm shorter

Not the CX-5, but the CX-60 (in Europe), is its smaller twin.

Mazda makes the most handsome of Japanese engineered reliable cars - Previously held by . Honda and Mitsubishi. The CX 80 is no exception. Much stronger & better engineered than German cars
You say that my cx60 broke down twice after 1 yr 😂 My previous German/Swedish cars never broke down.
What happened to it?
Because Mazda is one of the most reliable car company's if you look at consumer reports.

Mazda has so many CUVs/SUVs in their lineup, it's getting a bit ridiculous. CX30 , CX50, CX70, CX 80 and CX 90. The line between CX70, CX80 and CX90 is getting blurred.

Looks like a station wagon. 👎 The CX 60 looks much better but isn’t available in North America???
Let's hope it's not as terrible as the CX60 is, found 2 more issues with my top of the range CX-60, radio went off twice during a recent 7000km trip, it won't recognise speed limits of 90 or 130kmh, 90 comes back as 80, 50 or 30 and 130 displays as 120 or 80 and this is persistent across many countries. I'm guessing the 80 will use the same faulty technology.
