I’ve never shot a pistol with a red dot but I’ve shot an ar with a red dot and I hear everyone say it makes it way easier to shoot
You have absolutely got to try it on a handgun. I am a new Red Dot user as of a month ago and it has made a Believer out of me. It will blow your mind how consistently and insanely accurate you can be with those things, they blow iron sights out of the water no joke. 👍
I also recommend if you ever get into trying dots on your handguns, watch defensive Red Dot training videos made by real trainers. That's what I did and it helped a ton. There's lots of things you need to learn about how to draw and bring your handgun in front of you to ensure you always have both the Target and the dot immediately in your window because that's the part that gets people hung up that aren't practicing with them properly and why those sorts of people have trouble finding the dot quickly.
There is definitely a learning curve that’s for sure. And you have to practice and get that muscle memory so you’re not hunting for the dot.
So many red dots for handguns on the market, glad to have you show one that can be recommended.

I don't always have a red dot on my bang bang, but when i do the glass is the size of a house window, and it can withstand the recoil from a howitzer..😂
Really big enclosed emitter. Indeed a unique red dot, those big window ones usually are open.
The Canik needs a couple of those 22 unit clipazines.

I picked up a Springfield armory hellcat pro with a Red dot on it and it is a lot of fun to shoot

I'd really think twice before racking the slide by grabbing the re dot mount and thus bending it rearwards!
Due to astigmatism, the dot looks better on your camera...hahaha. nice wide window on there too.

Check your mag feed lips (I think that’s what they’re called ) anyway my second rival’s mag came with bent feed lips and was causing a lot of feeding issues , once canik replace my mags , it work fine

I have been thinking about getting to the canik I want a full size and a compact but they must use the same clips that is what I'm going to be checking out

brotha dam, i am super oldschool with revolvers n i grew up without those things , i really do not know much about em here honestly , i am a old iron sights type of guy n will always will be , give me a old beretta , if ihave to choose a semi-auto , it would be a beratta 92 like we had in the marines , but i was not issued it cause of my m.o.s./job ! , but as long as your having fun n we are learning this is all that matters , THANK YOU brotha . tom !

Seen the ZeroTech post about this on my Facebook feed a couple hours ago. They had a link to learn more but it wasn’t working. Be curious to know the price point on it?
I’m not a side note, I can actually see an actual dot when you show it and not a starburst because of my astigmatism. Only other way I can see an actual dot it to look at it through my Hines camera or to take a picture of it lol
That all said, I don’t think I’d like that big ole window on a carry gun. Competition, sure. But not carry. Not me anyways.

I say why not both
I have a red dot and a laser on one of my ARs. Don’t have any red dots on any of my pistols. Haven’t taken that plunge because it makes it cumbersome to carry. But do have a laser on one of my pocket Cary Walther. Because lasers usually mount underneath the barrel on pistols, carrying just requires a slightly bigger holster. Also with lasers I can hip fire and fire from odd more extreme angles. Although the parallax of a red dot gives you a little of that ability, but the smaller the window of the red dot, the more your eyes have to be aligned right behind your sights. The bigger the window, the less practical it makes the weapon for carrying. if I had too. Red dots only make firing from a classic firing position easier. Both help with making your aim target focused rather tHan sights focussed. You can also get into lasers cheaper than red dots 🔴. So my opinion, more advantage laser.
