Then the controlled fight begins in earnest. It's a very simple attraction but I think it could be fun

Best part about these kids turning to the dark side are the storm troopers. In one video the trooper raised his fist to cheer the child on when she turned. In this one a trooper gave her a high five on the way out. I'd assume it's the same guy going the extra mile to give a child a great experience. She might not have gotten a fight but a stormtrooper welcomed her to the dark side and was like "put er here kid!"

And up until Qui-Gon got a wild hair up his backside and decided that he wanted the newer model, he was telling Obi-Wan that he still had _much_ to learn before he was ready. And a Jedi initiate has until they're 13 or their species' equivalent thereof to become a padawan, so it stands to reason that you might be in that position for a while before earning the right to undergo your Trials.

I like both the actors on stage, Darth Vader trying to play his character well and give the kids an authentic experience, and Mace Windu who understands Vader's enthusiasm but also knows that the lineup of kids will never end so they can't waste lots of time with every kid who wants to be the star of the show.
She could've just dueled the jedi instead... I don't know why disney has to be so lame.
