- After a lot -- and I mean, a lot -- of requests for me to check out Dimash, I decided today was the the day, Needless to say, i was blown away by the sheer range and ease with which this talented young man performed.
This young man chose to sing a French song to a Chinese audience who did not know him, who did not understand the language the song was in, this young man has courage and faith in his talent and he blew them away like he does for everyone who listen to him. Hope you will react to more Dimash, there are so many beautiful songs to react to, I will be watching, thanks.
And I loved watching his fellow contestants, listening to him, and knowing that they were going to have to go on and perform after that!
guess what my frech friend said to me when I presented her proudly the first song I 've ever listend to from Dimash and I was blown away, burst into tears with the SOS performance of Slavic Bazaar 2017 - ah oui, écoute cette chansson de Balavoine ou bien de Grégory le Marechal😳😳😳trois mois plus trad elle m'a racontée toute cette histoire tragique autour de ces hommes, inclus Michel Berger...pour moi, il n'y a personne sur cette planète qui puisse me toucher comme Dimash, je suis amoureuse de cet Être humain, bien entendu comme artiste, et ce n'est pas encore fini!😍
You're in for a wild ride, buckle up! Dimash sings in all genres 12 languages. Plays 7 instruments. He just defended his Master's thesis in Music Composition. On top of all that, he is truly a most humble, caring person.

Oh boy! Ahahah! I love your reaction. He is even better now at 25 ( he was 22 in this video ). I have great fondness for this song because I discovered Dimash with it and because the song, that I have known for a long time, was written by Luc Plamondon (French Canadian like me, great lyrics writer) and Michel Berger (composer from France). This song is from the Opera Rock “Starmania”. Like PTX, Dimash is a very hard worker and lover of great music. I am a vocal coach and I can tell you that his range, breath control and singing technique is remarkable. I love watching his growth and popularity rise. He deserves it. Excellents commentaires. He is brilliant, has the best voice I have personally ever heard, adores his family, his country, his "Dears/Fans"
and is a man greatly willing to share his finances with those in need.
He does not like people knowing about his philanthropic endeavors but it gets out.
It's great seeing people discovering him for the first time - knowing all the songs they are going to be listening for the first time.
Dimash and DimashAli has officially confirmed it's PhD in 'CLASSICAL AND POP'? I certainly didn't reach any articles that officially said so nor have I seen any videos that officially confirmed it is PhD for 'CLASSICAL AND POP'.

Lukas, What a delightful reaction to our darling Dimash. It's live, and it's real. He has a range of 6 octaves plus 1 or 2 notes. For a great example of that, I urge you to watch "Ogni Pietra". I would so love to see that reaction!
Dimash was born with perfect pitch and a passion for singing, even in infancy, when his favorite possession was a bag of old cassettes, which he dragged around with him wherever he went. His mother is a much-celebrated opera singer; his father composes and produces for opera. As a 2-3-yr-old, Dimash would run up on the stage when his mother took her bows, and take his bows with her.
Off the stage, he's a very humble, rather shy, sweet-natured young man of 26. He started in the music academy at age 5 and has spent at least 3 hours EVERY day training those magnificent vocal cords. In S.O.S. he was in a competitive program in China, and though he only won 2nd place that night, when he awoke the next morning he was suddenly famous. When he tried to go out for coffee, he found that he was required, now, to be accompanied by guards. From that time on, he has come up with new performances, each unique. His fans, who he calls his "Dears", adore him, and vice-versa. There are over 2 BILLION of us, that is, registered and dues-paying fans. Dimash Kudaibergen was an overnight sensation. He was unknown, the youngest contestant in history (22 years old) and foreigener. He couldn't speak mandarin or english and compete against well known singers for Chinese audience with a lot of fans.
This was his first performance, please watch the next one "Opera 2". Thank you from Germany 🇩🇪 and Italy 🇮🇹

I started watching a few days ago, and I cannot seem to stop... I have heard things that are humanly impossible. I saw a song today that was the highest pitch I have ever heard from a human being, which sounds more like a tea kettle whistle. Insane! Dimash is in fact not of this world as far as people seem to think. That is the first time, he looked like he was even straining at all. This song is only up to a high “E”, but this other song is almost impossible for a keyboard at all, much less a person to do. He speaks several languages, he is humble, he is good looking, he is super kind, and genuine, and he is only 26 years old. Imagine what he will do in the future.
After I listened to Dimash the rest on the world gonne to the Trash.

I’ve been listening to Dimash now for about 6 months and am totally addicted to the effect his singing has on my mind and emotions! He sings in 12 languages, plays multiple instruments, and never disappoints! Please listen to sinful passion, love of tired swans, all by myself, hello, adagio, our love, and many more. He even raps and dances similar to Michael Jackson, in a much nicer way. I’ve listened to SOS probably 150 times and am never tired of it.

With this song many of us met DIMASH, in this contest he exploded the world !!! I appreciate having discovered it, there is a before and after of DIMASH Especially when apart from his talent, he shows with his actions and his way of being, that he is a great person and comes from a family of artists who always encouraged and supported him. I was in Dimash's NY concert, spectacular.. I will not get tired of hearing this young man with that wonderful gift, I cannot believe that a single human being has so much in himself, passion, emotion, beautiful personality, a great heart, and a pure and unique technique. Love it!
Also, a great coincidence and pleasant surprise happened to me Dec 9, in New York, day before the concert. When I was about to enter the NY library I saw Dimash's parents who were also entering, Dimash's younger brother was our translator ... that was a nice meeting..I had some photos with them ....❤❤❤❤

He was 22 here. This was recorded December 2016, just before 2017. Dimash turned 23 on May 24th, 2017. Many Chinese celebrities recorded birthday messages for him as well as gave him many gifts...videos on CZcams.

Dimash is an extraordinary musician, not only his vocal range , he mix music genres, he is singing in 12 languages, multi instrumentalist, composer ... and very very humble person, his Dears (Fans ) are very young and very alt (between kids and adults) all over of the world 🌎.. ❤❤❤ Thank you for your great Dimash reaction! I've been following Dimash for 3+ years and believe it or not, he just keeps getting better. Dimash started vocal training pretty quickly after telling his grandparents that their piano was out of tune when he was just 5 years old. Dimash is still in vocal training and education. He was encouraged to join the Astana Opera (in Kazakhstan) but he wanted to push the boundaries of his voice and see where else he could go with it. This performance is a great example of Dimash's own genre of music he terms Neoclassical, blending classical notes and styles with pop and even some rock. This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Dimash's abilities and range.

Hello Lukas....When Dimash was on the I am Singer Show from China he didn't know Chinese or English. He is however fluent in Russian and of course Kazakh...most people in Kazakhstan speak both languages. So Dimash learned to sing the French, English and also Chinese songs Phonetically and had one week to learn the particular song he was going to sing that week on the Singer Show.. Dimash was 22 on this show...a lot of people think he is a short guy...lol with comments like...how can someone so small have such a voice. Dimash is actually 6' 3" and one very humble young man...very kind and loves his Country and his family. There are videos on u-tube of interviews with him and some w/ English subs. I always find them so interesting because you can see how humble he is...lol. I sure do hope you will react to more of his songs...he is just so amazing. Welcome to Dimash. This was three years ago. You should see what he can do now. One of his best all time performances is Dimash, Sinful Passion. It is in Russian but has English subtitles. He sings in multiple languages but is fluent in his native Kazakh, as well as Russian. Speaks English better every day and is also learning some Mandarin. He sings incredible beautiful in Italian, Russian, English, Ukrainian, Kazakh of course, Mandarin, etc.
It was a contest in China, only for professionals, he was the only non-Chinese. He is from Kazakistan👍👏👏👏💞💞💞💞🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷

This was a chinese show for highly respected singers to compete, Dimash was the only foreign singer invited because the producer saw him perform for the Chinese president and was very impressed. He is from Kazakhstan is 6ft 3, 1/4 and was the youngest ever competitor in 2017 at only 22 years old. This was his first performance on the show and the audience went wild for him. When the show was broadcast on tv he had to have bodyguards for the first time in his life as he had become a superstar overnight in China with 600 million hits on Weibo. He is now a world class artist, still just turned 26 on the 24th of May but touring the world to sell out arenas with his solo concerts, (on hold until next year due to covid-19) he also performs in concerts with the famous russian composer Igor Krutoy, is constantly collecting awards, attends many prestigious red carpet events, film festivals and even models for lots of high end fashion houses. He is university trained in Classical opera vocals to degree level, also holds a degree in contemporary pop music and jazz vocals, and now has finished his master degree in music composition with a top mark of 100%. He has been having singing lessons from the age of 5 when his teacher noticed he had perfect pitch . He was offered a place at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turned it down to persue his own musical career. He is a multi instrumentalist and also sings in 12 different languages and has a range of over 6 octaves from a low bass to a high soprano, plus a whistle register with his highest note so far being a 5 second D8 with vibrato and is known for his control of his voice and for his breath. This show is for established artists by invitation only. He was invited as a dark horse. He was 22 at the time (just turned 26). The contestants sing live with an orchestra in front of a live audience. He was blessed with perfect pitch and has been training since he was 5. Sings in 12 languages and plays 7 instruments. Classically trained in opera and contemporary. Considered neo-classical, he doesn't just sing in one style, but blends genres easily. You can also hear a lot of cultural influence in his singing style as well. He has almost a 7 octave range and is an incredible storyteller with his voice. I know many people would like for you to react to sinful passion or opera, and botz are amazing, but i would suggest euther a song called late autumn or the diva dance .... late autumn is a deeply meaningful song and he did a beautiful rendition of it on singer, packed with emotions. To be invited on this show the Chinese contestants are well know singers. Dimash was invited as a wildcard participant due to International contests he had won over several years! He has been classically trained for over 20 years and has perfect pitch and almost a 7 octave range! He is areal talent and a marvelous human being. I hope you do more of Dimash. This song is from a French Rock Opera from 1978-79. Dimash was 22 when he tried out for this professional singing competition in China the youngest ever, and came in 2nd place over all (1st place for the evening). The male lead this was written for had a 4.5 octave range and Dimash at this time had a 6 octave 2 semi tone range. He speaks his native tongue Kazakh and Russian fluently, Mandarin conversationally and English passably, though he understands it better than he speaks it and he sings in a dozen languages. The audience are the ones that do the voting and the few individuals that you saw saying the ohs and ahs are his competitors. He also plays 8 instruments, most people say 7 but they forget the Xylephone. His mother is an opera singer, a soprano and his father was a pop singer, composer and lyricist but is now Dimash's manager. His family are all musically talented both his paternal grandparents and siblings and they all live together and always have.

Of course it's live, Dimash did a lot of different live versions of this song at his different solo concerts and other performances. The last 2 were this March (the Minsk Arnau solo concert) and this May (Tokyo Jazz festival live stream), and they are among my favorites. He is just that talented.

@Taqiyya terrorists Knowing how to speak or pronounce many languages is not a criteria to be a good or the best singer, because musically, he pronounces the words correctly, from what I can tell (I wouldn't know about Chinese, for example). And think about opera, for example, some words aren't clear because of the difficulty level of the sound production, but that doesn't stop people from enjoying it when the artist truly performs and conveys the right feeling, which Dimash usually does, at least for some of us. For instance, I got chills from SOS and Samaltau without understanding anything initially. Also, Ascolta la voce is proof enough that he doesn't need words.
But I agree that the words enhance the whole song, and that in order to connect more with people and to get more known, good English is very important for an artist of his caliber, and I'm glad he keeps improving it (he kinda butchered it 3 years ago, but I'm aware he didn't speak it at all back then, and his mother tongue/s make things even more difficult) , not sure when he has the time to.
You will soon find out it makes no sense to compare him to anybody. He has about 100 songs and each of them will give you goosebumps. I pity the people that do not know him. They miss so much in their lives. If you watch more of his performances, you will find them the highest quality possible. His whole presentation on stage is always so in harmony with the music, the lyrics. He lives the stories in the songs. And on top, he is such a nice, intelligent, handsome, humble man. And if Covid does not sabotage, we very soon will have to call him : Dr. Dimash Kudaibergen. He got his Masters in “Composition”, defending his thesis with success, with the highest score possible (100), and a recommendation for doctorate. He already has a Masters in Pop, Rock, Jazz, and has finished a complete classical, opera education. Studied everything music 21 years, since he was 5. Dimash, 6 Octave Range, F2 to the infamous D8. He's been singing since he was 5, his mother is a soprano opera singer and his father a singer also. He was 22 when he sang this song, and he's now 25, almost 26 this month. He's trained extensively in pop and opera. His range is basically from low Baritone (a bit of bass, tenor, and through the soprano ranges). The scary thing is he's even gotten better (which is hard to believe). He plays 8 instruments and sings in 12 languages. Although confident in his music, he's also very humble.
