Darshan Cheema started his career in trucking as and owner-operator in the Seattle/Tacoma area. In 2006, he and his sons started the business with one truck and one reefer trailer. While Darshan was burning rubber on the road, Harman was trying to book as many loads as possible after school. After some success, they moved their operation to California, where the company grew and their mission of Delivering Excellence became the driving force of their operation. In 2015, they opened a headquarters in Sumner, Washington, while still operating a terminal in Lathrop, California.
With three terminals, a fleet of trucks, and all of the west coast to provide for, Cheema Freightlines continues to be a high-quality, safe, and hard-working transportation provider. Today, Cheema continues to work towards putting safety first. They consistently focus on providing efficient operations, minimizing costs, and always “delivering excellence” for their customers.
