This salaries, normally we divide the annual. Salary by 12 to get basic salary.. Den other things are added on the basic salary such as overtime, rural, in hospitable environment etc... And there is also tax that plays a role.
For example your annual for pharmacy intern u said it's R350 817 diving that by 12 is R29 234.75 isn't that the basic salary??. (without any allowance), R24 318 wat happened to the rest? Did u include tax?
Even pharmacy grade 1 annual 693 372 /12 = 57k but yrs is 37k... Wat happened may u pls explain.
And isn't that 500 001 annual salary tax is 40%??
Thanx
B4 we can even include
The pharmacist's salary is a total cost to the employer package. Which means that it is a 70/30 % split. So for a grade 1 the basic is 70% of R693372. The other 30% is structured for pension and allowances. The value I am showing is the net salary after pension and taxes excluding other allowances, not the basic salary which is R40 446,70.
For the intern and comserv the value shown is without pension as interns and comserv can opt-out of pension. please check my video on medical interns which I explain in a bit more detail. czcams.com/video/IowDQm0jWEQ/video.html

Hello, do you think the demand is likely to increase in the next 10 years or will jobs be relatively scarce for pharmacists compared to other health professionals as is the case currently?
Disruptive technology and task shifting will play a big role. Legislation is another factor. Chronic medicine dispensing is now done via the post. Robotics and AI may also replace a reatail pharmacist. So yes I think the demand may go down. Currently you have to have an onsite pharmacist to run a pharmacy but if legislation changed to have corporates own pharmacies, what is going to stop corporates from pushing for remote management of retail pharmacies.
Could you recommend a medical field that will always be in demand? My son wants to do radiography but we also have consider how in demand this field will be? Could you suggest or advise?
@@laam88 i wanted to do radiography until my uncle in law told me how they’re getting machines to replace them. Would not recommend
@@ntsakom9699 radiographers are not only limited to work in clinical settings, there is an industrial aspect of radiography and many more other fields that one can venture into
Hello sir,
I'm an PharmD graduate with 1 year internship, and registered pharmacist at my State Pharmacy council. I don't have experience, if I want to write the qualification exam for SAPC, do I have to come south Africa or there are any center for exams in india?
I am not aware of any centre in India. In South Africa itself I am informed that the centre rotates. The exams are usually in May/June and October.

I found out in my second year of nursing that I was accepted for pharmacy. Too bad I couldn't deregister because of bursary policy. I'm doing community service in nursing. I still wonder if it will be a good idea to register for pharmacy the following year? Please advice
I will research it further to give you a comprehensive answer.
No, my wife is a pharmacist, and pharmacist jobs are very scarce nowadays and government isn't providing many employment opportunities with the private sector being very competitive.
Go for it , otherwise it will take you 20 years to buy a Mercedes my love!
Please do it .
I'd say stay and grow your nursing career
Do Veterinarian next please!
Thank you for the topic suggestion. I never had that topic in mind but I will research it the best I can to produce the video.
Hi doc is it true that pharmacist students can work and get paid while studying??
Yes if you register with clicks or dischem or any community pharmacy
Hii sir, I am shubham from india and I've done Posr graduation in pharmacology, will I be eligible for clinical pharmacist post in SA
Have you done a MBBS or BPharm as an undergrad degree.
@@InterncomservVlog sir, I did B pharma
You would need your qualification evaluated by SAQA , the South African Qualifications Authority. The guidelines from SAPC mention BPharm to be evaluated by I would assume the same rule of a SAQA evaluation would apply to a masters in clinical pharmacology. I have attached a link to the SAPC webpage with the guidelines. www.pharmcouncil.co.za/Pharmacists_Applications
Thank you sir

Yes . You will be eligible. Follow the link to check out the requiremnents. www.pharmcouncil.co.za/fqpforms
With out any exam ra we need to write any other exams
yes.you will have to write an exam if you want work in SA
@@InterncomservVlog exam will be in india are south africa
@@vamshivujjini4800 in South Africa
I recentlycompleted my pharm d (clinical pharmacist)in india how the experience can calculate in south africa..
Experience is based on actually working in a place. So if you have not worked post-graduation then it's zero experience. You will have to have done an internship. As a pharmacist grade 1 you should have completed an internship and at least 1 year as South Africans have to do community service. If you have not done community service then your first year of work will be equated to community service.
@@InterncomservVlog so can I appear for SAPC exam ..?
According to the policy and regulations, you can write the exams if you have completed your internship and are registered or registerable in India. Check out the requirements www.pharmcouncil.co.za/Pharmacists_Applications
I would suggest you email them directly and find out more.
Tnq for your concern
Best of luck.Making a move to live in another country is bold and adventurous. But the experience and rewards are no doubt worth it.
sir, under general pharmarcist those salaries are salaries that are without tax and pension or dey have not been deducted yet?
The taxes and pension have been deducted and the salary is the net salary.
Sir,
I complete Diploma in pharmacy had 12 years experience in the same and pls help me how I get job in SA
Please email me. I will get back to you.
Good afternoon. If you are a pharmacist assistant and wish to be a pharmacist, you need to go to the university, or through experience, you can be a pharmacist?
You need a university pharmacy degree
No you need to do a full Bpharm degree.
Is this before or after tax ?
He indicated that that it's after deductions , I stand to be corrected
Haaaiya all Asian parents want their children to be pharmacists 😤
