the "appears that you were born yesterday" joke was top tier
Freakin' lost it! 🤣🤣
The Bill voice turned into Yoda at the end.
Hey, I thought it was Yoda from the start...
Hacked, you have been
Always been it has **discharges pistol**
Wait? Apple didn't even have a timeout on the request? Like "Ooh this user tries to reset the password. Let's only allow it at incrementing time outs doubling the amount of seconds per click?". What a security MESS! What kind of amateur hour are they running at that company!
It seems like apple triggered some bad karma in the last few years. Force usb adaption, some eu law suits, some us anti trust suite, some m3 chip faults, a few icloud hacks... That's probably what you get, when you sell a monitor stand for 999$ and argue that 8gb soldered apple ram is as good as sixteen on the evil pc. 😂
Honestly I personally think it's good that they are currently under heavy flak from all sides. Maybe they can use this and change, get more open again, less discriminating against other os/platforms, less greedy, but it's probably wishful thinking. 😅
Intern much? Nobody adds penalty times for successfull requests, and even if; that wouldn't help much. That captcha was cute though, if that's the real site, then it was solvable for a looong time :'D
@@wojciechrydzewski1478 That's the thing though. Nobody's going to try sending dozens or hundreds of password requests for their account in a single day. That's why you need to add an increasing penalty timer for each subsequent request and even stop it after X times because there's basically no legitimate reason to do such a thing.
And yes, extremely old captcha if that's really what they're using.
lol no that would mean someone at Apple actually would have to think and reason, saying that as a 25 years Apple user and seeing it slide downhill in most aspects for the past few years.
its call thinking differently
Damn, Tim Apple isn't doing his job.
He ain’t cooking 😢
Says who ? Who knows if it's not a new trick to get more money ! 😂😂
He isn’t working like Steve jobs
@@CosmoBlox1358 he’s super talented tho, you may call greedy, but bringing a random tech company a net worth of 2.7 trillion dollars is not a normal persons thing by any means, whether you like him or not, Tim Cook was the person Steve jobs thought was the only who could save when they were in a serious decline in 1980s, even before , Cook was working on a very high level job, jobs requested him to join , and by this I actually mean, he “requested”…..and Cook decided to accept the offer, from the beginning he was given a very superior post, all the employees were instructed by Jobs to fulfil any of Cook’s requirements in productions etc…..he is the reason why is the richest company in the world, he exactly is the reason why having a “” on your phone makes you “that rich kid with an iPhone”
@@hityouwiththatdduddudu hey, sorry if I offended anyone I’m not trying to hate just saw this comment and just went with the flow. It’s not like I hate Apple or anything, in fact I have 3 Apple devices. I don’t mean any hate. I mean you could have replied to anyone else replying to this comment.
The only thing Iphones secure is your money... in Apple's bank account.
And then it transfers to Hackers,
With 30% return to their bank accounts while 70% returns back to Apple afterward

Android users: I dont have such weaknesses
Welll yes you do so easy to hack you all
Who would've thought that siding all the stuff you use on a day to day business to one big corporation would be a great idea!
Android isn’t a brand. And i don’t use either OS
@arandompro23 No we don’t.
@@arandompro23 wow you dont understand anything
I have no doubt Apple is currently thinking of ways to monetize this

Should I trust that guy who keeps saying "I'm Sam Tucker from Apple"?
Yess, absolutely. I have given him all my personal information because he said it was the only way to fix world hunger.
I feel very happy that i am able to help 😊
Absolutely!
Remember when they said iPhones were secure 😂 good joke buddy
And you think you can trust android lol
And obviously it’s secure thats why they need you to reset your password and they lock you out by putting their own password

bro got a job promotion 😂
Here in India I work at the customer support and I call people from around the world daily. Luckily I don't ask for passwords. 😅
Yes after decades Apple is susceptible to hacks. But still, you’re already in trouble if you fall for follow-up. If you didn’t request to reset your password, don’t reset your password. And as always, they (Apple or any other company) will never call you to reset your password.
Unfortunately there are plenty of people out there who will fall for these phishing scams, especially the elderly who aren't tech savvy and were brought up to be polite and answer every phone call.
Buy your mom an iPhone ❎
Buy your mom a rate limit ✅
So Apple didn't think to prevent loads of reset password messages to the same phone in a short amount of time?
Besides the Captcha a simple rate limit of 1 request per every 24 hours by the Apple server would have stopped this scam.
Privacy and security is a paramount concern here at Apple! No replacing your batteries, no swapping out your own iPhone parts, no opening up your own devices. Oh wait, what about our website?
“No replacing your batteries” 😂 I never got refused by apple on that matter. “No swapping out your own iphone parts” what ? 😂 you trying to create a new phone or what ? 😂 “no opening up your own devices” who the fck do you think you are ? 😂 I know for sure you no engineer 😂 why would someone let a random user open up their devices ? 😂
Exactly, you never know! That foreign origin stinky stinky non Apple superior battery might be a hacker!! Also that vastly superior USB Type-C is better because hackers or something!! Not because we loved them lightning cable sales or anything 🤑
Don't forget, screens cracks with ease!
Thanks, Apple, for forcing me to spend more money after a hack lol
Tim cook: we’re glad your happy and don’t forget to buy your mom the next iPhone😀
@@ScarfaceLittlebee-mj2ch they're glad that the customer bought their crap products and made him happy, not because the customer is happy☠️🤡🗿

The easiest way to avoid this kind of attack, is to not buy an Apple product. Problem solved.
But then you’d be forced to buy android; which is its own version of hell.

Haha so funny😂😂😂….waiting for this account to hit a million subs 🎉🎉🎉
Why would you ever press Allow
It's called a fatigue attack (the part where they spam the notifications) the goal is for you to accidentally hit allow when attempting to dismiss the notification so you can do something about them.
The second phase of this particular attack was social engineering. By spoofing the official Apple support number and already having your name and a few other pieces of information they seem more realistic and can easily convince those who are unfamiliar with the attack to simply click allow on a notification since it doesn't take much effort and doesn't require giving them any personal information.
@@withjoe1880how can you spoof a number?
@@withjoe1880 On such a message I wouldn't even click don't allow. Any button you push could be and likely is, dodgy. Reset the phone or better still ring them.
its zimbabwe bro...as a zimbabwe thanks for the shout out bro i enjoy your content
His name is "Sam". "Sambabwe". That's the joke...
So where is the sock palace located then?
Easiest way is to turn off wifi and not have a internet connection. You can't get notification spammed that way haha.
Almost like these old educational videos they made in the 1960. Good video
haha hilarious, useful to spread awareness of this type of issues
Remember when Mac users used to scoff at us? Me too. Look who's laughing now. This is the second Mac hack in as many days
I know... Sadly it makes it harder to be anti-Apple... It's hard not to look someone in the eye and say, "see, I told ya so!!"
Mac fucked us all when they decided too use an Intel chip!
You killed the hacker! lol 😂😂😂

I don't even read Apple news now. I just watch SAMTIME ‼️
im getting a message like that now it is trying to make me give it the code but I cant stop it do I contact aplle support myself on there website?
1:05 Completely unexpected 🤣Be careful out there. There's a lot of "Tim" from "Apple" out there.
well im getting this message right now it keeps telling me a guy from some where I dont live is trying to login I ofc say no but then it askes me to change my password ive already done it ones and it s still spaming me then my pc gives me pop ups thats says give apple your verifycation code and no matter what I do it wont stop will I just have to wait for it to go away or?
These make me laugh every time, as a long time Apple user I always appreciate the glibness.
I didn’t know that the “DNA” from Jurassic Park worked at Apple! 😂
No device or system is unhackable period. Saying a specific. tech product is 100% secure is like saying any physical padlock is secure. Also, all a blackhat needs is just to hack a system 1 time to do major damage.
Tim Cook doesn’t speak in Australian accent 😂😂
Thats where all my socks went
This is why giant pop-ups you cant bypass are a terrible idea. Especially when they're baked into the software. Great job Crapple, youve done it again!
"How can you protect yourself from this, well buy youself not an iphone"

You were born yesterday XDDDDDDDD What a great video
Apple users: We can't see beyond the bubble we live in. Wait a minute... Are there better options out there?🤔
It says "do not share this with anyone"
Call centers offering re finance are phishing too. I said, "Yea gr8,send me details about your loan?". First time ever and he hung up
It seems people blame Apple for this and they have every reason too as it’s there eco system they have subscribed to? But nobody asked what can be done when this happens and how to resolve the issue.
haven’t seen my bro since the fake money video years ago😂😂😊
Sambabwe😂😂😂😂 Please Sam, come to Zimbabwe and be our leader
wait, is this related to the xz backdoor? (iPhones use a BSD kernel, which i assume uses xz :OOO)
Nothing even remotely to do with it lol. Did you even watch the video?
Always use 2FA for your logins, try explaining that one to your gran! Great vid:)
That’s the point. It’s a phishing attack to get you to tell them your 2FA code.
That's exactly what these scammers are after to reveal your 2FA code by impersonating Apple with their phone call.
The iCloud leaks will be wild XD
I went into Apple Store today because of this and the genius told me the best way to secure my devices was to purchase the iPhone 15 max! 😂
I(m)sorry
I bet, using an outdated and more than likely paid for and public API plugin for the capture sequence.

Fun fact. Some of these spoofing apps are available on the apple app store! How's that for security?
Did we just witness the birth of a meme?
suspicious...the amount of bill gates images while talking about Apple...is crazy though
Thank God i didn’t buy my mom an iPhone. She’s not tech savvy enough to recognise this is a scam.
another suggestion as well as by creating a email for your Apple that you never use will make sure you don’t use on websites like shopping and etc.. Just use it for Apple and that’s all and such as your number get one of those texting Apps as well.
I just switched to Samsung from apple a week ago

Just yesterday my little brother showed me that iPhone feature to create these what he calls "animojis", which I think also is what you used to make tim cook's and bill gates' head in this video?

Hot Take: This is the issue with keeping all your crap on someone else's computer, its also the issue with having some stupid account in order to fully use the hardware you purchased. I've been contemplating lately on cancelling my phone number, at this point, why even have one anymore, the only calls I get these days are scams anyway.
