We recently looked at Doc's Guitar, and since Tommy often plays these two songs in a medley, it seemed like simple logic to follow that up this song. The tempo Tommy picks is simply ridicoulous, but do not skip this song because of that. This is one of THE best technique-building songs you can learn, even if you play it at half speed!

There are too many Patreons to pay for everything you like but I STRONGLY recommend paying for Tim's. His lessons are top notch. For normal guitar stuff I would say listen closely and lift it yourself, but Tommy's stuff is literally impossible when you're learning the independent-thumb technique. Great job Tim!

I recently joined for The Man With The Green Thumb. By far the best instructional method for learning the independent-thumb stuff. I played Blues hard for 30 years, and learning Tommy's stuff is like starting over. Being humbled might not be for everyone, but doubting yourself again is like a walk down memory lane from the teenage years lol.

Yes, my "request list" has gotten completely out of hand. 🤣 If I only do songs on that list I would still be busy for the next 5 to 10 years! And do I have to admit I put it off for quite a while because I wasn't sure how close I would get in the end...
