Elden Ring is an action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game, directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, was made in collaboration with fantasy novelist George R. R. Martin, who provided material for the game's setting. Elden Ring was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on February 25, 2022.
Elden Ring is an action role-playing game played in a third-person perspective with gameplay focusing on combat and exploration; it features elements similar to those found in other games developed by FromSoftware, such as the Souls series, Bloodborne, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Director Hidetaka Miyazaki explained that players start with a linear opening but eventually progress to freely explore the Lands Between, including its six main areas, as well as castles, fortresses, and catacombs scattered throughout the open world map. These main areas are interconnected through a central hub that players can access later in the game's progression-similar to Firelink Shrine from Dark Souls-and are explorable using the character's mount as the main mode of transport, although a fast travel system is an available option. Throughout the game, players encounter non-player characters (NPCs) and enemies alike, including the demigods who rule each main area and serves as the game's main bosses.
Miyazaki stated that the customization in Elden Ring would be richer, as players are able to discover different skills through their exploration of the map instead of unlocking skill trees as in Sekiro and differing from the pre-fixed weapon skills of FromSoftware's previous games. These skills are interchangeable with a large variety of weapons which, alongside equipment, magic abilities, and items players can craft using materials found within the world, can be used to customize the player character.[4][6] The game also features summoning mechanics, where players can summon a large variety of collectible spirits hidden throughout the game's world map, including previously defeated enemies, as allies to assist them in battle. Similar to the Souls series, the game's multiplayer allows other players to be summoned for cooperative play

No wrong ! It didn't boost dragon incantation, just the cult dragon incantation (all the red lighting)
U didn't get any dmg boost from the othet dragon spell
Dragon Priestess boosts lightning incants...Rock Heart boosts the Bayles incants. You can verify what I'm saying by looking up both the Bayles incants & Priestess Heart/Rock Heart on the Fextralife site.
I wish ith the DLC they would've added something like a Dragon Ending. Since Dragons are such a big thing with ER compared to previous Souls games.. I like the idea of the Tarnished turning into a Dragon themselves as they become the Elden Lord.
Tbf, DS1 was all about the everlasting dragons going extinct and the age of fire being ushered in by Gwyn and the other Great Souls.
DS2 and 3 had entire areas and like ds1 a dragon covenant though expanded a bit more on the lore in their own ways each.
So i wouldnt say DS had little dragon related lore and items. (But i do love the attention they get in ER of course :3 )
@@FriedShrimp04Yeah DS1 is probably the one that relates to dragons the most. We just see more dragons in ER because it’s a bigger game
@@FriedShrimp04 I didn't really say DS1 didn't focus on dragons. But I get what you mean. I more meant since this the first Souls game that actually focuses on Dragons more then usual.
Sure you can turn into a dragon in previous Souls games. But this is the first game that has spells centered around Dragons, and actual Dragon covenants.
It's really haunting hearing about the magma wyrms and then we got Bayle. Makes me double think my actions as I eat another dragon heart
Would it be cool if maybe in a sequel to Elden ring there is an other golden liege that is tainted by dragon communion so there are half breed dragons?
By the way, they added an heirloom talisman in the dlc that increases your arcane by 5, which can help you meet thw requirements as well

It's called the outer god heirloom and is found in a chest at the prospect town. To get there you need to go from the grace where you first meet Moore and Ansbach, head to the giant cliff tunnel, and take a right, which leads you to the top of the giant cliff above the gravesite plains

It's good for big bosses, but kinda useless against small ones who tends to move around the arena a lot. You can also combo with dragonmaw by canceling the end lag with the spell cast

I'd imagine the aoe and multiple damage sources of Tyranny would make it broken on larger bosses much the same way ADL is, since the damage would stack multiple times for every source within the eneny's hitbox.
Bayle is the best dragon fight they've ever done. Igon's questline, and especially the ending of the Bayle fight, is Shakespearean in scope and no other fight in the entire game, even all of fromsoft, is as good as this one.
the buildup too, the environment, the theme... they pulled out all the stops to this.

best dragon fight but putting it on leagues above every other character is pushing it. it s-tier beyond a shadow of a doubt for me but Igon is just captian ahab and Bayle is The White Whale. still cool as hell but it has competition in the entire catalogue of bosses in fromsoftware. Isshin, Gael, Gehrman, Lawrence, Nameless King, Genichiro,
Shakespearean in scope.. wow. You FromSoft fans need to chill the hell out
@@DoctahToboggan69 I like fromsoft titles but glazers gonna glaze apparently. I like Bayle, I like Igon, but the whole fight isn't some masterclass of writing, it's just an omage to Moby Dick and Ahab.

If anyone is wondering, at the time of posting this comment, Roar Medallion does not boost Bayle's Tyranny. It is really weird. The spell is also not chargeable. Most of the Dragon Communion Incantations are roar/breath attacks, meaning they can be boost with aforementioned talismans. Which is sadly, a shame imo.

Bayle's Tyranny looks more useful for PVP while Flame Lightning looks more useful for PVE. In PVP I can picture the magma puddles causing the opponent to take stagger tick damage, And it seems the roar goes off quicker than Greyoll's roar.
Bayles tyranny is bugged ATM and only hits one target in range of the aoe

If you don’t have anywhere near that much arcane(like me lol) and if your not going to do a rebirth with renalla to give yourself that much arcane(like me again lol) then the smart thing to do would be to get the bayles tyranny first since it requires less arcane(49) then you can get the second one on the second playthrough when you have your arcane leveled up even more since it requires even more arcane(53), but it doesn’t really matter too much of course, just get whichever one you like better the one with a bigger radius that blasts in all directions around you, or the one that’s even more damage focused in on one small area directly in front of you, I will say that I think they are both probably good for pvp, just different. The tyranny one will be a good defensive one if they are coming at you, and the the flame lighting one will be good for if they are running at you or if they are close and trying to get away i imagine you’ll have time to catch them with it as they are trying to run or roll away form you if they are close enough of course. Thats my thoughts anyways, man that was such an epic fight RIP Igon I shall wear your armor to honor you! Curse you Baaayyle!!!💪😂

As a pvper I prefer the second one so far. The first one looks like you can see where the attack will land and simply escape. It could be harder to punish based on recovery but it's just way more telegraphed. I like using the second one either early on in the fight to test my opponents skill or use it much later on to switch things up with an ultimate attack
The first one has a good 'get off me' area of effect when they rush you

@@colebaisden4652 when compared with Mt friend in pvp lightning version seems infinitely more effective. Seems to have better poise and pressure. Idk the consistent damage the other one does in pvp because nobody gets hit by it in our tests unless they trade for the win. My friend was using the other one and I'm using lightning. Everyone has an opinion tho lol
The dread talisman will only strengthen Baylor’s tyranny or am I wrong ?

There is a new talisman that gives you 5 arcane points. I have a video about that.
Dread talisman enhances Bale's tyrany. I think this spell is a little faster and also has a big range so I choose it.

No it's not like flame pillar. The fist is the better choice if you are 60 arcane already. The wing smash will do more damage.

Man those arcane requirements are stupid, every single other dragon incant is primarily faith with a side of arcane, Placidusax's ruin is pure faith at 47 faith, then along comes these with 53 arcane, thus limiting them to pure arcane builds or overleveled characters

@@SharkR my main issue is how disproportionately high the arcane requirements are compared to the rest of the dragon incantations which cap put at 17 arcane. A plus 5 isn't going to get that anywhere close to 53.
@@DankMemes-xq2xm while it isn't on technicality since it isn't buffed by the communion seal, it is placed alongside the communion incantations in the menus and functions very similarly in that it summons a piece of a dragon and attacks with it.

1. Ghost flame breath(can charged)
2. Bayle's tyranny(can't be charged)
3. Bayle's flame lightning(can't be charged)
But Bayle's incarntations are more stronger than any
