- Tune in every week to Lindsey Vonn's Virtual Career Day. Each week Lindsey will bring together a young Lindsey Vonn Foundation scholarship winner and an expert in the field they want to grow up to work in. During these challenging times, Lindsey wants to remind young kids that there is still something to look forward to and nothing should stop you from achieving your goals.
This week's scholar wants to grow up to be a tennis player, so we brought in Lindsey's good friend and singles tennis champion, Caroline Wozniacki.
Caroline recently retired from tennis with a long list of accolades. Including 30 World Tennis Association singles titles, a 2006 Wimbleton Championship, and a Grand Slam Title.
This week we are promoting Feed the Children: They work with thousands of partner agencies across the country including food pantries, shelters, soup kitchens and churches to feed children across the country. Go to the (link below) to check them out and donate!

Lindsay has been my #1 inspiration for skiing since her 2006 Olympics. As a little girl, I thought it was super inspiring to see someone suffer such a massive injury and keep pushing through it. It was also the first Olympic games I had ever seen and instantly felt motivated to take skiing to the next level. Even though I never made it to the Olympics, I raced on a middle school team before I was even old enough. I also raced all throughout high school and qualified for nationals every time. Despite not being able to afford to travel across the country to race, I can still thank Lindsay for being able to say that I at least qualified. I can also thank her for how much of an impact skiing (and snowboarding) has had on my life. Without having been able to fall back on my favorite sport during the hardest times of my life, I would be a COMPLETELY different person... Also. Lindsay, it's amazing how many injuries and surgeries you've been through and STILL haven't given up. That's real dedication. Not that I'm encouraging injuries, I've just been through a few minor ones myself and I can only imagine what type of work it takes to be able to get back out there. Thank you for never giving up and thank you for being an inspiration for young (and older) girls everywhere

Thanks to Lindsey, I did not lose heart after a terrible ankle fracture with displacement of fragments. I was in the hospital and watched similar injuries on CZcams, and I came across a video about the injury that happened to Lindsay Vonn. Lindsey motivated me to be stronger, and I coped with my pain and psychological emotions. 5 months have already passed, I walk on crutches but soon everything will be fine! Thank you Lindsey!
