@@casiofigueroa5627 Well tbf, these movies are their own self-contained things for the most part in the MCU. They don’t really connect to anything major, and they work well because of it. Running a whole cinematic universe (aka the DCU) is a different task entirely.

The first GOTG was my mom’s favorite comic book movie ever, sadly she passed away from cancer complications in 2015 at just 65 years old. What hooked her to the movie at frost was the soundtrack of songs she grew up on but then she loved the movie so much that she became a fan of the MCU. So this franchise has a very special place in my heart and I’m very likely gonna shed tears by the end of this movie.

Sorry about your loss. You will always be able to come back and visit this franchise whenever you want to feel close to her again. My mom passed away when she was watching game of thrones. Sometimes I feel sad she didn't get to see Joffrey die. Haha

"We'll all fly away together into the forever and beautiful sky" is a SICK line to drop especially in an MCU movie
This trailer just hits differently. This is going to tear my heart out. I’ve been feeling marveled out recently but this is gonna just do it for me. I can’t wait.
I'm worried about Drax actually. Peter and Rocket have more things to do. But I could see Drax sacrificing himself to save his friends. Then going on to be with his wife and daughter again.
Drax is 100% dying. Bautista said openly this is the last time he's playing this character and after Thanos's death he doesn't really have a purpose anymore
If you see in that scene where Drax throws a guys and yells, there is someone in the back preparing to fire. Then the next scene is that Drax already has a hole in the chest.
It isn't Drax because they showed Drax being carried away with a gunshot wound to his chest. If you know anything about Marvel trailers, you KNOW it won't be Drax
@@ianokay The difference is that James Gunn cuts his own trailers unlike the other MCU projects so it's all fair game. Drax could very well still die.
It’s gonna be 1 of drax and rocket or both. This seems like it’ll conclude rocket’s story really well especially because it’s focusing on him and his creation/creator.
This is one of those movies I'm simultaneously looking forward to but also not looking forward to. I'm definitely taking tissues with me to the theater.
The way Star-Lord and Swoll-Groot look at the High Evolutionary - is INTENSE!!! Both are ready to kick serious ass!!! Love it!!!

The music just HITS in this trailer. Especially when you realize we are losing Drax (Batista) and maybe Rocket Racoon (Bradley Cooper).

As for Rocket - sadly I think he's going to die, remember he never got snapped away so he's 5 years older then the others and in GOTG 2 he talked about only having a few years left (or something like that) - he's OLD now

How exactly did Jay not pick up on the whole: Rocket as a baby being kidnapped and held to a scalpel while having to re-meet his maker and an apparent loved one while also sadly and hopelessly speaking about "We'll all fly away together, into the forever" while Peter cries in total despair and agony and heartbreak over someone who had been re-experimented upon 😑😑😑😑😑😑 HELLO !? HELLO ???? HELLO? Nothing he said made any sense. Then he's like "OH!? Rocket being in danger!?" *TOTAL SURPRISE*. HELLO!? What was he looking at?!

I don't think I'm emotionally prepared for how this movie is going to absolutely wreck me. I love both previous GOTG films, with the first one being in my Top 5 MCU films and the second not far behind. This really feels like the end and I hope they go out with a bang.

It’s not Rocket I am worried About it’s Peter. This is my own personal theory. I think Rocket thinks High Evolutionary is coming for him and why he wants to go after him, but I think he’s coming for Peter because he was hired to finish creating Adam Warlock, since he is obsessed with creating the perfect being, and the final thing he needs to create him is Peter’s celestial DNA he got from Ego and will extract that from Peter. Think Peter will die but a part of him will live on in Adam Warlock and Rocket becomes the leader of the Guardians.
OMG I can hardly wait. This is a great trailer and I'm sure the movie won't disappoint
I gotta agree that this is above all the superhero movies so far the Guardians are the ones I feel most invested in, I'd love a happy ending but I feel like it's gonna be bittersweet

I have a strong suspicion that the scenes in the trailers showing an unconscious Starlord is actually altered from what it really is, kind of like how Marvel edited in Hulk in the Infinity War trailer but he wasn't there in the Wakanda battle. I say this because Nebula looks off to me, she looks a lot bigger than she normally is and it doesn't really make sense for Marvel to spoil such an impactful scene like that.
I think he might just be drunk. Earlier in the trailer we see a scene where he's passed out next to some alcohol
I'm thinking Drax is gonna be the one that dies. Batista has said numerous times this one is his last, so it makes the most sense for him to die. And when Drax said he would die fighting besides his friends, that seemed to be a giveaway to me
This movie having a happy ending is about as likely as not having another heart breaking Last Of Us episode. I am here for it anyways!

I’m so excited for this movie but so scared for our favorite team of misfits. I’m kind of expecting multiple deaths here. I wouldn’t put it past James Gunn to do a second act death to motivate the team into the third act, and then a bittersweet sacrificial death in the third act.
Mr. Gunn, please, you cannot do this to me. You gotta warn someone before you hit them with that many emotions.

Drax dies in the 90's Infinity Gauntlet comics. Thanos' daughter is Moondragon and Drax was her guardian. Highly recommend to read the Infinity Gauntlet graphic novel and it's sequel. I still have the original issues

I could be totally wrong cause despite having 20/20 vision , I'm basically blind , but that shot of starlord screaming looks like he has his hands and face not that far from the table , like it's literally right beside his face , so it's probably rocket , cause they would do that for a smaller person , and it's looks like the high evolutionary tech he was made from with the big tube

Sometimes happy endings are them leaving. Drax is going to die. He will then be reunited with his Family. Rocket will die. He will sacrifice himself to save what he loves. Those are fulfilling endings. They will make us bawl our eyes out, yes. But endings can be bitter sweet.

This movie is gonna hit so hard, I’m so excited but also absolutely dreading it because it’s the last time we will have this guardians crew and Gunn, I think 1 of drax and rocket will die and possibly both. I’m predicting the most emotional MCU movie to date
I don’t think I would enjoy watching movies that much if I just wanted and expected a perfect happy ending every single time. Good stories are reflections of our own lives in that they’re both filled with hardship and yes, sometimes death. Using death as a theme in your story doesn’t always equate to a sad ending either. I know Adam would disagree with this but episode 3 of Last of Us had quite a happy ending despite the deaths of Bill and Frank. It was a sad circumstance yes, but Bill and Frank were both happy despite this circumstance and they shared amazing lives together.
this movie will smash every other movie this year.....one of the mcu's best. looks awsome.
My prediction: Rocket is a misdirection. They actually save him and Drax dies.

Skipped this trailer before, glad we're watching it after the movie cos there were a lot of surprised in it.

Personally I'm of the mind that not everyone should get a happy, retired ending. With this being the last outing with this team, I think they should kill some of them off. I think Rocket and Drax are in the most danger of dying.
I think all the Rocket stuff is a misdirect. Drax is who I'm really scared for.

This is the movie version of the Last of Us…I can’t wait for it but I know my emotions will be destroyed by the end. GotG has been an amazing ride and I can’t thank James Gunn for coming up with it and Daddy Feige saying yesssss!

I really think that Rocket isn’t making it out of this one alive. With him saying “we’ll all fly away together, into the forever and beautiful sky” line and Peter screaming over a table, I just have such a bad feeling. With the story so focused on him, I’m thinking that he sacrifices himself somehow for the team and the thought of that just makes me sick. That said, I do think it would be a great arc for him…..
I’m worried for rocket always have been I felt everything has pointed towards him finally giving up being selfish (even though we know inside he’s not) and his ultimate sacrifice being to save the team, specifically Groot ….
But … this trailer… I’m not sure gives me SOME hope he may get a happy ending with Lylla I don’t know - it makes me more worried for Drax now
