The fkn FRENZY that this created for the Szechuan sauce at McDonalds after this aired was INSANE LMAOO everyone was begging McDonald’s to bring it back 😅
Fun fact. It was because of this episode, that McDonalds brought back that sauce for a short time.
And when they did they didn’t make enough and people went crazy. 😂

Imagine having to wait 3 years to get this, but it was worth the waiting, this episode is a pure masterclass !
The sauce was real and after this episode, McDonalds brought it back temporarily. Many Rick and morty fans swarmed McDonalds. Some of them even caused big problems at some locations. There are videos of it on CZcams if you search szechuan sauce
Most of the freakout videos were staged and had the mcdonalds employees in on the joke
Jerry crawling all the way home is hilarious.
With so many Ricks present in any given scene the "I gotta take a shit" line keeps us informed as to who the "Real Rick" is.
And simultaneously getting him out of the room...
Also, he probably really had to take a shit.
Summer has always been smart, they've dropped hints about it before but it will definitely be more obvious later. its just been overshadowed by her behaving like a typical teenager. But she's definitely a smart girl, just like her mom.
I think it's interesting how "our" Morty over the course of the series becomes more and more like Rick to the point that he starts looking down on other Mortys.

Season 3 is arguably the best overall season, with a combination of character development and crazy s**t. There's a lot to look forward to.
The clips in the opening sequence are from the current season with a couple additional "red herring" clips mixed in that don't appear in the show, at all. So, you never know if whether you're actually going to see any particular clip in one of the episodes.

When McDonalds brought back the sauce it was pretty good idk about going crazy for it but any regular Szechuan sauce will be good with chicken nuggets

My favorite thing about the szechuan sauce thing is that its literally just another one of those Asian sauces thats like 95% soy sauce. Like if youve ever had any soy sauce based Asian sauce, you already know what it tastes like. (Which is really fukn good btw, dont get me wrong)
Other sauces that are extremely similar include, Eel Sauce, Soy Sauce (obviously) and Squid Sauce (squid sauce being my favorite of the 3)
McDonald's brought back the szechuan sauce after this episode dropped, but severely underestimated how in demand it would be. Those riots were when I discovered how batshit crazy the Rick & Morty fanbase are.

"Supreme" gear is so embarrassing. It was started as a joke to make fun of brand-chasers, but it got too profitable so stopped being a joke. Now it's just sad. Shows someone genuinely thinks 'expensive = good', or, more generously, 'expensive makes me look rich even if it's worthless'.

Summer wasn’t really smart just desperate

From Season 3 on, nearly every episode is tainted with occasional nonsense injected in by Jessica Gao and the handful of women writers shoehorned into the staff and the overall writing starts going downhill in general. Get ready for boring Summer/Beth episodes and Jessica self-inserting herself in to "own" Rick.
..... season 3 is arguably the best season of the series and is accepted by nearly everyone to at least be one of the best with not a single flop (meaning below average), more than a handful of top tier episodes and most importantly 2 of the indisputed best and most universally beloved episodes of the entire series, as for seasons 4 and 5 I will absolutely agree that they have 2 of the worst episodes of the series, specifically claw and hoarders and rickdependence spray (D tier IMO) as well as some episodes that I would agree are a bit worse than the average shows of seasons 1-3 in particular mortyplicity, ammortycan grickfitti, gotron Jerrysis revangelion, childrick of mort (varrying from low B or high C tier) but none of those episodes were bad because of bad summer/beth plots....
The 4 below average episodes suffered from various different issues. Mortyplicity was repetitive and didn't make up for it with top tier humor, some dark/surprising twist, or any other way. Ammortycan grickfitti suffered from trying to do to much, keeping us interested in rick and his "adventure" with Jerry and eventually Beth as well as morty/summer and the very lackluster bruce chuckbacks adventure with the car lead to both plots being rushed and unsatisfying. The gotron episode had a few issues from the ending with "naruto", to the weird way they decided to narrate it (which yes turned out to be the worms or whatever but it still wasn't great) as well as uninteresting villains (whether it be the monsters they one-shot or the supposed rightful owners of the gotrons), childrick of mort suffered from a difficult premise to tackle (rick fucking a planet and raising kids), as well as having rick not only lose but lose in a very unsatisfying manner (not using 99% of his tech and just throwing punches and rocks)
the 2 worst episodes meanwhile were bad because while they had managed to handle incest comically in previous seasons (surprisingly often if you go back) by either having it be a small part of the show or through simply better writing they absolutely failed to do so in those 2 episodes. It was not only far to in your face with it being a main part of the episodes but they also failed to make the payoff through comedy or writing be enough to make up for it.
Not to mention claw and hoarders was mainly written by Jeff loveness with (assumedly Justin and/or Dan harmon having some involvement) then 3 other male staff writers and 2 female staff writers (not that staff writers general have a big impact but just so you know).
As for rickdependence spray it was mainly written by nick Rutherford with only a single female writer even being involved (once again only as a staff writer). So the 2 worst episodes had literally nothing to do with Gao and had men in charge....
Mortyplicity was once again written by a man and only had a single women involved as a staff writer, jerrysis revangelion was the same (despite being one of the episodes with the most focus on summer), childlike of mort for reasons I have no idea about had far more writers involved (7 not including dan or justin) and only had 2 women involved and once again only as staff writers), the only
weaker episode that was written with any significant female influence or control was ammortycan grickfitti, so trying to say it's female writers at fault for the weaker seasons when out of the 7 worst episodes of the seasons 4 and 5 only a single one had a lead female writer or any significant female writers to begin with.... you might as well blame the Greenbay packers for the Toronto maple leafs not winning a Stanley cup in years🤦♂️
Even more ridiculous NONE of those episodes involved jessica Gao at all..... in fact the only episodes she was involved in were The Rickshank Rickdemption, Rickmancing the Stone, Pickle Rick, Vindicators 3: The Return of Worldender, The Whirly Dirly Conspiracy, and Rest and Ricklaxation.... 1 of which many people consider to be the best of the series (and is pretty much universally seen as one of the best at minimum), while the rest are all at the minimum above average episodes... none of the 6 are commonly disliked, seen as poor or referenced as weaker episodes (the opposite in fact) so the idea jessica gao was somehow tainting the show is laughable....
As for season 6 it is by far the best season in years revitalizing the series and being easily at least on the same level as the first 2 seasons even if it isn't on the same level as the 3rd so I'm not even gonna bother researching who was involved because you're just wrong on that front.
Overall idk if you are just angry at jessica gao specifically because she hulk was trash and as such just ignorantly blame Gao for anyrhing you can without actually looking into it, are just poorly informed on the subject in general and decide what to hate from FB/reddit and memes or are just sexist in general and either hate any show actually using its female character and making them relevant or hate the idea of female writers working on a show you like but whatever the reason you couldn't be any more wrong.
Season 3 is top tier it has one of the best episodes in the entire series if u look at ratings, so ur just wrong 😆 also women were a part of the staff even in the early years
I actually kinda like Wong, her whole speech is annoying and pretentious and up its own ass, sure, but it was kinda needed because the fan base really wasn’t getting that Rick wasn’t a good person. I don’t think the Beth and Summer stuff was boring, just very VERY annoying and borderline unwatchable. The show has decided that whenever Rick, Morty, or Jerry are shitty people and do bad things they should be called out and punished, but whenever Beth or Summer are shitty people or do bad things, not only are they not called out, not only are they not punished, but they get to spew holier-than-thou BS that ends with the episode saying they’re in the right and they get rewarded. Woman aren’t allowed to face consequences for their actions I guess 🙄.
